After relieving the pain of the last child in the neonatal wing, Morpheous walked towards his dorm. Because of all the healing, he had been doing for the last couple of hours, his sin counter had drastically reduced.

Had it been any other day, he would have rejoiced to see that number, but not tonight!

He knew what he was, and he no longer possessed the dream to go back to heaven and prove his innocence. Walking aimlessly through the corridors, he passed the window but then turned around and halted there for a second.

It was the same window next to which he had made a truce with Dr. Caroline by giving her orange juice. All the memories came flooding in… drenching his heart in melancholy.
