I stirred in sleep as the bright sunlight attacked my face. I slowly opened my eyes, taking the time to let them adjust to the light. It also gave me time to wake up completely and pull off the blanket of slumber.

Unknowingly a smile crept my face as this was the first time in a while that I slept this well. I felt more weight on my stomach, and my eyes found the reason behind it. A muscular hand with veins running all over it like the light of thunder tightened around me. I craned my neck to see the person sleeping soundly beside me.

Devil... a perfect illustration of raw beauty and strength. His chiselled jaw face was nothing less than a Greek god's. It was void and serene. There was not a trace of worry or anger. He looked like a fallen angel. Breathtaking yet dark and mysterious.

My hand inched towards his perfect face to feel his skin against my fingers but stopped midway when he opened his eyes suddenly.
