Scarlet's POV....

After Lucas had explained to me about Ann's uncle, I still didn't want to completely trust it. If Amy knew about it, why didn't she say it literally to our face than go behind our backs and tell Lucas about it. Since the day she came, she has been asking questions about our friendship in the past and that seemed like a red flag.

I snatched my phone from my makeup table and fidgeted with it, pondering on who to contact. I huffed deeply and dialed Ian's number. If we hoped to find the psychopath on our own, we have to take every clue into consideration.

“Hey.” his voice hoarse came through to the line.

“Umm, I was thinking about calling you.” He confessed, his voice crammed with hesitation. I crinkled my brows for a quick second.

“Are you okay, your voice seems a bit off.”

“Me? I umm... I am fine.”

“Okay.” I acknowledged and went straight to the point.

“So I was reckoning about something Lucas had told me.”
