Jack and I were waiting in the living room for him to come down. Why is he taking so much time and for what?

“It's been ten minutes. Why isn’t he coming down?” Jack asked me.

“I don't know why he is taking so much time Jack,” I said without emotion on my face.

After some time he came down. He was looking good in his polo shirt and black jeans.

"Where were you, dude? We were waiting for twenty minutes for you. We are getting late and we need to pick up Olivia from her house too”. Jake said in an angry tone.

He was still staring at Jack. There was a smirk on his lips. “I was busy doing something important. Now that I'm here come let's go" he said like he didn't care if we are getting late.

Wait, now I know he was purposely trying to get us late. How can I forget his plan for ruining my day?

There was anger all over my face “Let's go, Jack. We are getting late” I said in anger.
