I slowly turned, not looking at his eyes. My head facing the floor.

"lookup," he said in his angry voice. I didn’t dare to look up because of the fear of him killing me.

“I don't like to repeat myself,” he said while grinding his teeth.

Then l slowly lifted my head and faced him. I was still biting my lower lip. I kept my gaze low, not daring to look in his eyes.

"Look into my eyes when you're facing me,” he said, his voice was so cold piercing right through my soul which made me immediately look straight in his eyes.

His eyes are so beautiful.

What are you thinking Jane? Complimenting your murderer's eyes. I immediately remove that thought from my brain.

He was staring at me trying to read my emotions.

"Are you trying to avoid me?" he asked me in a demanding voice. I bite my lip harder.

He… he...knows that I am avoiding him.

“What... me... No… No. Why would I avoid you?” l answer him while laughing nervously.
