Vegeta hooked the two witches up after torturing them with Destruction energy for a whole minute. The witches pale and sweat was oozing out of them like a broken tap. They had fear in their eyes as they looked at Vegeta like a demon.

"Speak". Vegeta said authoritatively and looked at them with a menacing expression.

"We'll say". The witch said in a quivering voice as she answered.

"In the Lands of death, where lava flows like an ocean. There stands a tall tower in the middle, anyone who trespasses into the Tower falls into temptations of Fate and never returns.

There you can find the answer to your question. If you pass the test. You shall have the power to hold the chalice of Fate and bar anyone from manipulating your desired Fate". The witch suddenly had her eyes turned white and said in a husky tone.

After telling the legend, she collapsed and went into a coma. Her breathing was erratic and her power was draining at a rate visible to the naked eye. She had over drafted herself to tell the forbidden words that should not be mentioned to anyone.

"We have told you. Now leave this Temple". The other witch said with a strained voice. Her face was sorrowful as she looked at her Comatose sister with grief.

Vegeta looked at her for a second and let her go. He signalled Kratos and started walking out of the temple. He wasn't a Hero but he wasn't a heartless demon either. He got his answer and didn't want to involve these sisters any further.

"Now, we need to find this place". Vegeta had a thoughtful look as he looked at Kratos and spoke.

"We have been to the area". Kratos spoke in answer.

"Oh, do you mean that place where we got your Blades?" Vegeta asked with a hint of surprise. He naturally knew what Kratos meant.

Hearing Vegeta, Kratos nodded his head and didn't speak anymore. Both of them continued on their way outside to find the Land of Grief and get the Chalice of Fate. The surroundings of the temple were still stained and by now the blood had started to make all over the place which looked like a scene from an Apocalyptic movie.

After getting out of the temple of Fate, both of them backtracked to the way they had come previously before they were thrown off to the DxD world. They encountered some monsters and dealt with them swiftly without any effort whatsoever. This part of tartarus doesn't have those strong monsters they encountered on their way before.

Finally after a long trek, they happened upon the starting of the Land of Grief. Like before, they saw a swarm of Gargoyles in the air surrounding them from all sides. The sheer number was too much even though they aren't all that strong.

"Guess, we will have to do this again huh". Vegeta sighed and looked at the Gargoyles in front of him.

Kratos didn't say anything and just swung his blade and latched onto the Gargoyle in the air. Vegeta conjured Ki wings and lifted off the ground with a very fast lift. He got into the fray and started slaughtering those Gargoyles like nothing. It was basically a lion getting into a flock of sheep.

They slaughtered the Gargoyles and after getting into his Divine Super Saiyan 4, Vegeta looked at Kratos and took his shoulder as he picked his speed to the maximum and the time came to a standstill. All the Gargoyles appeared Frozen around them and Vegeta took off towards the middle of the Land of Grief.

As they were crossing the vast sea of corrosive Magma, the sea suddenly started to bulge in front of them and a massive geyser of Magma shot out of there. Slowly the bulge became bigger and massive flukes came out in front of them.

A moment later, A Deep, rough voice greeted them. "Intruders, you shall not pass from here". The voice was majestic and heavy. There was clear pride contained in that voice.

"Hmph, A massive fish dares to talk to me like this. I will fish delicacies out of you". Vegeta Harrumphed and spoke in a condescending tone.

"Let me see if you have this ability". The voice replied back and immediately a massive whale head came out of the Magma sea.

Kratos shielded himself with Divine energy and let go of Vegeta. He immediately fell on top of the magma sea but he was able to stand on it with the help of his barrier.

Vegeta kept flying and didn't plan to go down for the showdown with the massive whale. He sped towards the massive whale and delivered a punch on its head. The head trembled and flesh on its head quivered but there wasn't any substantial injury.

"Damn this thing is tough". Vegeta said as he felt his fist was numb from the impact. He felt like he punched a steel plate.

Kratos ran towards the whale and swung his blade at it, leaving a massive wound on its supposed chin. Thick black blood gushed out of its injury and the Magma started to boil even more from its blood.

Vegeta looked at this example and changed from punching to using Ki blades or Ki beams for his attacks. The Whale wailed in agony from Kratos' cut and spread sonic waves to its surroundings.

The sonic waves disoriented them for a second and the Whale took the chance and flung Vegeta down with its Flukes.

Vegeta plopped into the magma and went down like a Torpedo in water. Kratos took the chance and plunged his blades into the Whale's skin as he started to increase the flames on his blades.

Vegeta took this chance and fired a Ki beam from below as the whale was flailing its head and trying to get Kratos off from its body. The beam impacted the whale and lifted it out of the Magma Sea. The Ki beam impacted the whale for a while and finally tore a massive hole under its mouth.

Kratos conjured a massive Ball of Chaos Flames and plunged it into the hole made by Vegeta, effectively killing the Whale as it vaporised the Massive Whale's brain.

When the Whale died, there was clear unwillingness in its massive eyes.
