章節 63: Chapter 61- The First Ingredient

Kazuki began his journey in search for the ingredients needed to cure Griffin. His goal is to find the ingredients and return within 3 days to make the cure and give it to Griffin.

He left with Yozuko while Rhyle was guarding Griffin along with 3 other paladins. He didn't worry since Rhyle is the high paladin of defense and his specialty is guarding the king. He didn't tell his friends about his journey because they haven't attended school for a while and didn't want their grades to suffer.

Kazuki opened the parchment read the ingredients.

(The ingredients are:

1 Serpentine saliva

3 Clover bird feather

2 Demon fangs

5 goblin eyes

3drops of nevermore fruit)

The first stop is the peak of Mount Roseville where the clover birds live. Since serpentine saliva is common, Kazuki plans to purchase it from the market.

Using <boost>, a 3rd tier null spell, they were able to reach the mountain in 3 hours. Traveling is easy but finding a clover bird is a challenge. These birds have the ability to conceal themselves in mid air and one can only stop them by their shadow on the ground.

For an ordinary person, finding a clover bird is like finding a 4 leaf clover in a field of clovers therefore, the name clover bird. Since it is rarely seen, almost no one knew the looks of a clover bird and since Kazuki's mind adjusts information based on the logics in this world, 10 different images of the clover bird popped into his head. The information given to him are the clover birds caught by different guilds from different nations. From Crux, it looked like a phoenix with purple flame and amethyst eyes. From Holy kingdom, it looked like a dove with a golden crown. From Dragon's republic, it looked like a brown bird with four wings and brown rabbit ears.

Kazuki was hesitant to choose on which one to catch first since they only have 2 days and based on the information, the birds were caught by waiting patiently. The fastest catch was 3 days of waiting.

He decided to prepare traps instead of waiting. He prepared 3 on the north, 3 on the east, 3 on the west and he camped on the south. He also imbued the traps with his magic so that he could be instantly alerted whenever one of them were activated.

And so, they decided to wait until morning.
