Lu Sheng coughed lightly and asked, "Since the lord still has some matters to attend to, I shall not stay any longer. Can I take these away?"

She had not touched any of the dishes yet. What a waste it would be if they were just thrown away.

Chu Yun glanced at Chu Sihan. When he saw Chu Sihan nod his head, he said, "Miss Lu, please take a seat. I'll go downstairs and get the takeout boxes from the counter."

Seeing that she finally smiled, Chu Sihan heaved a sigh of relief.

"Was Chu Silin the one who tried to kill you at the mountain back then?"

Lu Sheng pretended to ask casually.
