me and jiraya arrived in the land of tea without any dangerous encounters on the way . on the contrary this peace time meant that enemy shinobi that infiltrated the land of fire must have already arrived in the land of tea . so it was nothing to feel happy about .
in my past life I had various opportunities to watch past Edo city in Japanese dramas and the main city of land of tea was just like that . the business here was even more flourishing than land of fire but the most appreciated products were only various tea leaves. there were many hot spring inns too but sadly those enemy bastards did not give time for the two of us to relax and enjoy .
using my chakra sense combined with Sam's observe function , finding enemy scum became to easy . I found more than 300 rock shinobi hiding in a underground base near the capital city of land of tea . the most powerful ones who were probably the leaders , were only 3 elite jonin level.
I was sure that this was not the total forces of rock village they planned to use while attacking the village of whirlpools because the uzumaki had enormous chakra reserves and so many powerful fuinjutsu that they could eradicate this enemy group like squashing ants . only the elite jonin class were eligible to fight them . so my guess was that main forces of rock , mist and lightning village which consisted of their elite corps like explosion corps from rock , storm corps from lightning and seven ninja swordsmen from mist , must have planned to take a different route after the rest of their forces travel through sea in disguise . the only way to reach village of whirlpools was to travel through sea so they must have divided their forces in many groups so that even if one or two somehow got captured , others could arrive at the village of whirlpools without much problem.
I told jiraya about the presence of some rock shinobi who were in disguise immediately after discovering them but only told him about 3 elite jonins . he now trusted my skills very much because I had delivered 16 enemy bodies to him easily while he had not found even one before . well its not like jiraya was not good , it was just that I was too good .
jiraya trailed the 3 elite jonin for 2 whole days while I only kept my eye on the other enemies casually with my chakra sense sometimes and enjoyed the good food and tea which was signature stuff of land of tea . at night I would eat ramen that I had stored inside my inventory so my time there was pretty much a nice vacation with some work .
in those two days , jiraya found out the purpose of rock shinobi easily without being detected by them . their purpose was to find many ships which was obvious to me as they planned to attack the village of whirlpools which . so to cover the large sea route without suspicion their only choice was to hijack or use some other means to procure ships to travel there . they would be idiots if traveled there by simply walking on water because nothing would remain surprising about their surprise attack then and the village of whirlpools would surely activate their village defense mechanisms to stop the advancement of enemy troops.
jiraya had a sharp mind so he noticed the enemy motive quickly and after connecting dots with prior availability information about meeting of 3 enemy villagers , he realised that they must be planning to join forces and attack the village of whirlpools. I acted like I was shocked when jiraya depicted me the seriousness of the matter but in truth I was laughing inside because I knew about it beforehand and now finally konoha would be forced to move if they wanted to protect their alliance with village of whirlpools.
from gathering information jiraya had found out that the ships carrying rock shinobi in disguise would leave the port next day . so he immediately used reverse summoning to deliver the information and proof straight to hokage .
the matter was extremely serious so hokage responded fast and our further orders arrived just after half an hour . our orders were to somehow stall the enemies and at all cost percent them from leaving the port successfully. well it was a very hard order because even though jiraya was already low kage level but to fight more than 300 shinobi was too much and they even had 3 elite jonin who could successfully stall jiraya for long time after joining forces ...
the mission was too hard and it was not wrong to categorize it as mission impossible. well if they did not have me though ...
