章節 15: First mission ..
minato looked like he was thinking about kushina because his face was blushing hard . hmphf.. instead of training he was thinking about a girl !! so I decided to take a break from training my body and teach him a lesson .
my new S rank jutsu was too good so I decided to sneak up on him using it . minato was actually a great sensor ninja so this way I wont get detected as my chakra nature would look no different than that of earth . tch .. these zetsu things really had some troublesome and badass abilities but unlike me they were too weak to do something significant anyway..
I clasped both my hands in front of my chest and slowly with my chakra traveling inside the ground , my feet started sinking but it was different from other jutsu because my body was literally transforming into earth . finally after a second my body was merged with the ground so I slowly started moving forward . it was weird that I could move forward despite being completely merged with the ground but this was the best thing about my jutsu .
I did not activate my more more bloodline so my speed was very slow . I reached right under minato who was standing more than 100 meters away from my previous position in 43 seconds . slowly my hands emerged from the ground like a ghost and I grabbed the slim legs of munato . I did not give him any time to think and immediately merged my hands back with the ground and the legs of minato too followed my hands .
finally when minato was merged with the ground up to his waist , I let go of him and appeared on the ground right next to him after cancelling my jutsu .
seeing him flustered, I held back my urge to laugh at him with great difficulty but my mouth could not stop twitching.
" hmphf.. minato chan , I know that you were thinking about kushina so this is a little punishment . from now on I will always do this to you when you are not paying attention while training! " I finally could not hold back when minato started blushing hard like a girl and started laughing out loud while holding my stomach .
I too sometimes thought that what was the previous big business which was me was doing teasing these children but seriously it was more fun to enjoy childhood while playing around with them . my parents were too high class on earth so instead of playing, I had to learn ethics and knowledge. so it was practically my first time enjoying the carefree childhood .
" ren chan stop laughing and help me out now!! " finally after hearing the slightly angry shout of minato I came back to my senses and stopped remarking my suffocating childhood on earth .
" bakamon ! I have already cancelled my jutsu when I emerged back on the ground so you can easily get out of the ground yourself! "
I looked at minato with fake disdain and started laughing again when he started getting angry and then embarrassed.
when minato was busy getting out , suddenly jiraya came with a poof of smoke and Genta came after him running fast .
" my cute students , it's time to stop training for now and go outside for our first team mission . hehe.. you guys are lucky as seeing your prowess, the old man assigned C rank mission to us while other new teams are busy competing D rank missions like cleaning dog shit ! alright get your supplies ready and meet me at the main village gates in half an hour . remember to pack much because our trip will at least be 8 days long . ciao ! " after saying his words, jiraya again dissapeared with a poof of smoke . well he only used body flicker jutsu though but I guess adding smoke made it look cool so almost every shinobi did it .
I did not need to go back and pack anything because all my useful stuff and supplies were always stored in the system inventory . so instead of going home , I went to ramen shop near my clan house and store 50 hot bowls. the inventory function was too useful because time would stop inside for things and I could eat hot ramen anytime . I was rich so the payment of 50 bowls were nothing to me .
it was obvious but ichiraku ramen had not opened yet in the village because teuchi was actually a small child yet even one year younger than me . I had met him once with coincidence and observe function helped me remember him .
since 2 years ago I had decided to active observe function all the time because it's not like I would get tired anyway. so anyone within my eye vision or sensory range would be identified instantly even if they hiding or using disguise . sam would inform me immediately about the presence of any important person or enemy so it was too convenient. with this I was sure that I could become the greatest bounty hunter as no target could hide from me inside my range which was too wide when I used my bloodline chakra to expand the chakra sensory range .
jiraya was waiting alone at the huge main gates of konoha when I arrived. there were still more than 15 minutes remaining from the time limit so I guessed that two other children were busy with something .
" ren chan , you came too early . are you sure that all the supplies are packed ? " jiraya said with a smile and I could see that it was a little forced .
the only reason could be that our mission was not a simple C rank mission . so I decided to ask jiraya about it as I was sure that he would tell me some information as he knew me well and the two other kids had not arrived yet .
" so big brother, do we have to gather some crucial information? I heard that rock , lightning and mist village ninja are too much active these days from uncle sakumo . so old man hokage must have issued some secret mission to you personally as your spying skills are best in the village !! " I truthfully told some of my doubts to jiraya and as expected his face became serious.
" well I can tell you ren chan because you will be a lot of help . on the surface our mission is to externalize a small bandit group but the main mission is to gather some useful information about from the land of tea . old man got information from his personal source that shinobi of 3 villages had been spotted together near it . it could be anything but good if 3 villages had planed some secret mission. so my mission is to gather information about their mission . the possibility of battle happening is too high so I will be counting on you to ensure the safety of minato and Genta as you are the most skilled and intelligent one among you three !! "
my frown got deeper and deeper as with listening to jiraya's explanation, I could smell the possibility of some huge plot . simply because I remembered from anime information that 3 villages had joined forces to exterminate the village of whirlpools shortly before the 2nd great shinobi war . I did not remember the exact 3 villages but it could not be a coincidence that 3 village were plotting something at this point of time ...
