Physical combat, energy consumption, stamina; these were the major lessons Ares had been teaching Zane. To cope with his deterioration, Ares had been mainly guiding Zane on how to fight without his transformation. Continued reliance on his Apocrypha form would only shorten his lifespan even further. 

It had now been a total of three days since Zane had begun his training with Ares. Though it had only been for a short period, Zane had improved tremendously. However, it was still far from enough if he wished to defeat the royals.

Layla had also been putting in some training of her own. Even though she did not have any cool special abilities as Zane did, she worked on her stamina, weapon usage, and fighting techniques. 

Thankfully, over the past three days, Layla had managed to slightly improve her relationship with Chimera. Due to this, Chimera had decided it wouldn't be an issue to aid Layla in her training.
