章節 639: Love and Wood
Although alerted that SOMETHING lived in the river, our trips to fetch water were uneventful. More like a chore than a vacation, at least for me. The children had me carry all the buckets once we were out of line of sight of their home, and it was just expected that as the oldest and strongest, I would carry the full ones in my inventory.
Kaela didn't even need to bat her eyes. I was the largest, and the oldest, and the strongest. Clearly one of One-Tusk's duties.

"Romulus, your mother isn't helping me with the nets. Come here and help untangle them."
"Busy with the water, pa." he replied.
"I know a bit about nets." I moved to take my position, and spread the net properly. No wonder Romulus didn't want to do it; his arms were too short, and he must have earned a severe tongue lashing when visitors weren't around.

Mike_Kochis Today was a terrible day; I knew if I started bad things for Rhishi, I wouldn't let up. It's okay, I'll let it stew (pun intended, this time) and hit him tomorrow or so.
But probably tomorrow. Rhishi's getting hopeful and doing something nice. You've been reading long enough; that never goes unpunished.
