章節 629: Return to Agoge
I don't know that I'd describe farm-work as back breaking. I will admit that the variety and magnitude of tasks I had to perform counted against my Weekly Physical Therapy just like it were days spent in the Agoge.
"When you come back," Agmar said, "Your fees are tripled. You eat too much food."
"Oh, don't listen to him." Amara said. "Your fees are only doubled."
Agmar grumbled, to which she said, "You know he only eats twice what you do."
"Oh." she said, "Besh, give the young man the package for your aunt."
I sniffed the package. "Leftovers from dinner."
"Swear to me that my sister, and not you, shall eat these."
"I don't swear what she'll do with it, but she'll get the package intact." I placed it into inventory, the safest way of transporting things that I know.

Mike_Kochis I so often forget just how many different abilities Rhishi has. It must be like Superman writers; how do you challenge a person who has so many options?
I have debated, multiple times, letting one of the drill sergeants loose on him; but until just now, there hasn't been any actual reason. And even that turned out to be a moment to reveal that the drill sergeants aren't just there because of their wounds. They are there because they could have been champions.
