Yone woke up beside Tsunade the next day. He watches his wife as she was sleeping soundly tempting him to wake her up because of her loose clothes.
But then he remembered the temper she has when he wakes her too early. He kisses her cheek before leaving the bed letting her continue to sleep.
He left the house and began his morning routine which was to exhaust his Chakra without releasing his Yang Seals. Then he would spar against four clones which he made beforehand to train his Haki.
Afterward, he would take a shower and prepare breakfast for the younger twins and Tsunade since the others either ate outside with their team or partners. Then he went to the Academy as he always does while his clones looked over his children's training.
After the classes were over he walked down the street when he stops before the residence of the student he was worried about. He stood before the door when he looks at the doorbell which has the family name written on a metal plate over it saying 'Haruno'.
He pushes the button in and he could hear the doorbell sounding. Soon a woman with blond hair opened the door.
She was surprised to see the person behind the door as she stood still and both heard someone from inside say, "Darling, where have I put m-"
The voice stopped when the person behind the voice saw Yone as well. It was a man with dull-pink hair and unique sideburns that connected with his mustache.
"It has been long, Mebuki. Can I come inside? I have to talk about your daughter with both of you," says Yone talking to Mebuki knowing that she had the pants on in their relationship.
"Yes, of course, Sensei," says Mebuki letting Yone in before closing the door.
"Kizashi seems to still have his unique sideburns," says Yone as he taught them both back when they were children in the Academy.
"Of course, I would never separate myself from them," says Kizashi as he guides Yone into the living room while Mebuki went to make tea and prepare some snacks.
"Do I go and bring Sakura as well?" asks Kizashi worried about his daughter.
"No, I wanted to talk to you two first before bringing her into this conversation," says Yone as he sits down at the table with Kizashi sitting across from him.
Soon Mebuki joined them and she asks, "What is it that you want to tell us?"
Yone sighs before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath when he turns serious and he says, "Your daughter isn't made out to become a Kunoichi."
This shocked both parents that Yone would say that. Sakura only brings Aces back home from her exams which made them wonder why Yone was saying that Sakura wasn't cut to be a Kunoichi.
"Why is that so?" asks Mebuki seriously since the future of her only child was at risk.
"Sakura is one of the best students the Academy has in her year but that is only when it comes to academic achievement. We all know that a Shinobi needs to not only have a head but also keep it attached to its neck.
Sakura has a brilliant mind but she won't be able to keep her head if she ever encounters an enemy. I don't want her life on my consciousness because she was killed while on a mission while I knew that she wasn't made for this life," says Yone explaining why he wouldn't let Sakura become a Shinobi before taking a sip from the tea Mebuki made when they hear something drop in the hallway.
It was clear to everyone that it must have been Sakura since she is the only other person that can enter the house without ringing the doorbell. She wanted to run out of the house only to hit her head against a wall or at least that is what she thought before looking up and seeing Yone standing before her.
She began to cry thinking that she was a disappointment since she couldn't enter her mother's footsteps when Yone helped her up and says, "I wasn't done talking. How about you join us for what I have to say next?"
He takes Sakura's hand and they walked into the living room. Sakura couldn't look into her parents' eyes only looking at the table when Yone says, "But I have found a way for Sakura to become a Shinobi."
Yone looked at Sakura before saying, "She is an intelligent young woman. I talked to my wife as you know she is the best Medical-Nin in our village. I asked her if she could teach Sakura from now on.
She was willing to do so if Sakura visits her while she is at the hospital. What do you say Sakura? Are you ready to take your first steps so you can become a Shinobi?"
Sakura stopped crying and was stunned while her parents were in shock because Tsunade is one of the Three Legendary Sannin. If Sakura could learn from her it would be an honor for them.
"She would learn Medical Ninjutsus from Tsunade and if she is really committed to her training we will see if my wife teaches her more of her Jutsus," says Yone making a smile appear on Sakura's face which made him happy since he always wants the best for all his students and not shatter their dreams.
He then finished the tea and says, "You should come with me, Sakura. We will go together to the hospital for today from tomorrow onward you will go on your own."
"Yes," says Sakura excited as Yone stands up and walks towards the door.
Sakura followed him as they strolled through the city when they sees Naruto and Hori on their way to the hospital and Naruto rushed toward them.
"Sakura, what are you doing with my grandfather?" asks Naruto curiously not hiding his interest in the pink-haired girl.
"I am taking her to meet with your grandmother. She will be studying under her for a while now," says Yone while Hori looked coldly at Sakura since she was the girl his father mentioned before.
Sakura noticed Hori's cold look and Yone hides her behind him while saying, "Excuse Hori for his cold glare. He can't help himself since he has the same expression when talks to everyone that's why he is called the Shinobi of Ice."
"That is not the truth behind that nickname," says Hori coldly to his father making Yone smile at him.
"Oh, but it could be. The only people you aren't cold with are Mito and your girlfriend," says Yone making Naruto laugh because Yone was right.
This made Sakura giggle as well seeing that it was normal for Hori to be this cold making her appear from behind Yone again. She talked with Naruto for a bit before they continued on their way to the hospital. Once there they were welcomed by Shizune.
"You are finally here. I was waiting for you," says Shizune excited to see who the person was that would become her junior if she had the talent to be acknowledged by Tsunade.
"We are sorry about that. We met Naruto and Hori on the way here," says Yone explaining to Shizune why they arrived late.
"This is Shizune Senju. She is my daughter and Tsunade's first student. You will see her more than Tsunade as I know my wife. Tsunade might be your teacher but Shizune might be able to help you when Tsunade is busy dealing with hospital matters," says Yone to Sakura who gives a slight but respectful bow to Shizune before introducing herself.
They entered the hospital and pass a lot of people that are injured some were slight injuries but others made Sakura turn pale from seeing them wanting to turn her head when she hears a small whisper in her ears, "Don't turn away. This is the price a Shinobi might pay on their mission. It would be disrespectful to not acknowledge the sacrifice he has made for our village."
Sakura looked towards Yone since it was he that whispered it to her ears without anyone knowing. They arrive at a patient's room and they see a man that was being treated by Tsunade and the nurses.
The man had lost an arm and leg as well as his left eye. Sakura could smell the blood from where they were standing. She wanted to cover her mouth and nose but Yone stopped her again using this time his heel as he bumped it at Sakura's shin.
It was temporary pain that would go away in a moment or two but it was better than letting her lose her opportunity to learn from Tsunade who seemed to try to test Sakura by using the hospital and patients to the fullest.
Sakura was patting her shin feeling a bit of pain thanks to Yone but she quickly forgot the pain as the odor of blood entered her nose again.
Tsunade and the nurses were done with trying to save the man on the table when Tsunade looks at the clock hanging on the wall and says frustrated, "Time of death is four o'clock in the afternoon."
The nurses pulled a sheet over the body as Tsunade left the room stomping off making Sakura hide behind Yone again. Yone could understand Sakura since even he would avoid an angry Tsunade.
"I should talk to her before presenting you," says Yone to Sakura before looking at Shizune to look after her for a moment.
Shizune nods agreeing with Yone who left to look for his wife before she does something foolish like destroying half of the hospital. Yone found Tsunade in her office as she was pouring herself a drink.
"Are you alright?" asks Yone knowing it full-well that she wasn't when Tsunade takes a sip from her glass.
"He wouldn't have died if they had a Medical-Nin in their team. I told Minato and the rest that we should have at least one Shinobi on the team with medical knowledge so if they are sent out to finish a mission and something like this happens he can prolong the life of his comrade until they arrive at the village," says Tsunade feeling frustrated not with herself but with the Hokage who was her son-in-law.
"To be fair, Hiruzen also didn't recommend it while he was Hokage. He saw the potential but didn't force anyone to learn Medical Ninjutsu if they didn't want to learn," says Yone gaining a glare from Tsunade which could kill if glares could make it happen.
"Anyway, I brought you a person quite interested to learn maybe more students will want to learn Medical Ninjutsu after hearing from her that she is learning it," says Yone changing the topic to not get beaten an inch away from death.
"I hope so," says Tsunade finishing her glass before leaving with Yone hoping that the student Yone wants to introduce her can bring a change in how people see Medical Ninjutsu.
Tsunade and Yone soon arrived at Shizune's side where they see Shizune showing off some of the Medical Ninjutsus to Sakura. Tsunade could see a glimpse of hope in Sakura before turning to her husband.
"At least you are right when it comes to evaluating your students. She seems interested in learning going by how she was absorbing what Shizune was showing her," says Tsunade feeling relieved that the girl wanted to learn it seriously.
"But we will still see if she will receive an apprenticeship from me the next month," says Tsunade to Yone since the beginning in become a Medical-Nin is the hardest part of it.
"I see, I hope she succeeds in it then," says Yone hoping Sakura won't waste the opportunity Yone gave her.
Hope you like it.
