章節 20: Razzia at Root

Mikoto wakes Yone up as he asked her to do. Yone opens his eyes and sees the face of his beautiful wife. He stretches one hand up and caresses her cheek when he lifts his upper body and kisses her upside down when someone coughs and Mikoto turns red.

"You two can do lovey-dovey things after we got Danzo. Move your ass Yone or teacher won't execute the mission out of fear to lose too many people," says Tsunade as Yone stood up and kissed Mikoto again.

"I will be right back," says Yone as Mikoto returned the kiss.

"Just return in one piece," says Mikoto as Yone smiles.

Tsunade and Yone leave when Nawaki wanted to join them when Yone says, "Nawaki, you stay here and protect your sister-in-law and your nieces with Haru. Dan, Tsunade, and I should be enough from our family."

"Isn't that a bit unfair? How am I going to become Hokage if you take all the glory the whole time," says Nawaki feeling underestimated by Yone.

Yone put his hand on Nawaki's shoulder showing that he saw Nawaki not as a kid anymore but as an adult since he didn't pet his head as he usually does when Yone says, "I need someone I trust with Mikoto and the children."

"Yes," says Nawaki hearing Yone as he returned to the house.

"You are good with words. Too bad that you don't want to be the Hokage. If you were, we could avoid the war," says Dan as Yone smiles.

"I'm not made to be a Hokage. That's too much responsibility for someone like me. I better leave that to you or Nawaki," says Yone as Dan smiled hearing that.

"The Hokage is chosen by a committee of people and only is chosen like before when we are facing a crisis like before when granduncle made teacher Hokage. It could happen to you and you would have no choice but to accept until a new person is found to become Hokage," says Tsunade as she was stating the truth.

They arrived at the office where Orochimaru and Jiraiya were still clueless about why they were there for when Orochimaru sees Yone and begins to sweat a bit.

"Yone, weren't you outside doing something important," says Orochimaru who feared Yone since the day of the Chunin Exam even if he normally wasn't showing it today it came out.

"I returned today," says Yone as Jiraiya smiled at Yone and hugged him.

"I heard you married a beauty. You need to give me some pointers," says Jiraiya as Yone sighs.

"Yes, I married a beauty but it was more of a scheming made by my grandmother that we married since she poisoned us and once we were cured there was no way back," says Yone explaining to Jiraiya how and why he married his wife when he continues, "But I don't regret marrying her."

Hiruzen was in his black attire as he was ready to stop Danzo and take him as a prisoner before dealing further with him when he says, "Jiraiya and Orochimaru, you two are here because we are going to start a razzia against Root and take Danzo as a prisoner. We have someone that saw him deal with shady businesses lately and he tried to abduct Yone's daughter in broad daylight."

"So we are going to attack Root directly tonight. I made people retreat from the front so we can deal with this," says Hiruzen as Yone was quite ready for it.

"I just hope that no more tremors happen like in midday today. We can't allow a mistake to happen in this mission," says Hiruzen as he was pretty sure they wouldn't get a second one.

"We should begin then," says Yone as Hiruzen then takes a pipe out and ignites it as a flare shoot up signaling that the mission started.

All Shinobis and Anbus began to move together as the gates weren't guarded that night. Yone rushed in front of everyone since he had a personal vendetta against Danzo.

They stormed the Root Headquarter they all fought against each other but were overwhelmed by the sheer numbers that Konoha Shinobis and Anbus as they took everyone as prisoners.

Danzo was nowhere to be found until Hiruzen with his three students walked into a room and found Danzo on his knees while Yone was holding the Dragonblade in his hand while a green dragon seemed to have manifested from the sword.

Some minutes earlier, Yone was ignoring the small fries as he jumped around while taking them down with one move at the time when he arrived at a room where he could feel the wind pass-through making it obvious that a hidden escape route was there.

He entered and found Danzo and two other Root Members as Yone says, "Just give up. I won't hurt you if you do."

They rushed at Yone as he grabbed his Dragonblade and draw it as he attacked both using the blunt side sending them to sleep.

"I told you to surrender. Now I will ask the same out of you," says Yone as his eyes turned red while Danzo closed his eyes knowing he would be done if he looked into Yone's eyes.

"You are quite intelligent but you were dumb enough to target my family," says Yone as he appeared in front of Danzo who didn't notice that Yone stood in front of him.

Yone then grabbed Danzo's head and opened his eyes with his fingers making Danzo look into them. The world turned red for Danzo as Yone says, "Welcome to hell. I have now three days with you in here before the others find us."

Yone then turned his blade around making the green edge face Danzo as he swings his sword making a green dragon appear that went for Danzo instead of the sword.

Danzo was sent flying by the Dragon as with every swing Yone did a new Dragon shoot out of the sword for Danzo while small cuts appeared on his body because Yone wanted to torture him personally for three days.

After the three days inside Tsukuyomi, Danzo was only kneeling and Yone turned around to see the four looking at him holding his sword when he sheath again.

"What was that?" asks Hiruzen when Yone's eyes change back to normal.

"Just a Genjutsu. He can still go on so we should take him to the Torture and Interrogation Force," says Yone as he looked at the two Root Members and takes a look at them.

As he pulled one of them up the mouth opened and Yone saw the seal and became furious as everyone in the room could notice since his body was burning while the earth was trembling and darkness began to leak out of his body at the same time.

"Yone, calm down," says Tsunade as she looked at what Yone saw too what infuriated Yone that much.

She walked towards Danzo and smacked her first into his face making him see darkness as the other three were confused why Tsunade would do that.

"Why did you do that Tsunade he was defenseless?" asks Jiraiya as Hiruzen walked towards Yone and saw it as well.

"A cursed seal," says Hiruzen as now he understood why Tsunade and Yone reacted like that.

He knew that Yone was a genius at Fuinjutsu and that Tsunade learned a bit of Fuinjutsu because of Yone being that good at it. Hiruzen could understand Yone's anger since it could have been his daughter that could have been put under that Seal.

"I'm not going to kill him but once we have the evidence I will do so," says Yone as he seemed to calm down with the flames and darkness entering his body again.

"It was you who cause the tremors today right?" asks Hiruzen as Yone couldn't deny it.

"Yes, it seems my body awakened two more powers," says Yone not wanting to tell them that it was a fruit that gave him his powers.

"That would explain the darkness as well. Anyway, let's take everyone to the TI Force and let them do their work," says Hiruzen as he was feeling sick from seeing the seal when Yone tried to remove it with success.

"I should maybe take care of the seals so they could return to their normal lives. It will take time since it's only me but a week or two and this should be forever be erased from our history," says Yone as he does the same to the other Root member before caring them away towards the TI Force while Jiraiya was carrying Danzo.

They arrived there and at least 20 more people were in chains as Yone began his work them while a shinobi from the Yamanaka Clan began to decipher the brain of Danzo.

Yone stopped after he released five of the twenty members before he went home to sleep since he got a feeling for it as he began again the next day.

Two weeks later, Yone was relaxing with his wife while looking over the children when Kushina seemed to be angry when Yone asks her what was going on.

"Just some people thinking that I'm ugly because of my red hair," says Kushina as she was hiding her face against a pillow when Yone petted her back.

"Come on, do you really believe them. They must be the ugly ones since everyone knows that people with red hair are outstanding beauties. If you don't believe me look at Mikoto or Mito on a picture taken some years ago," says Yone as Kushina lifted her head.

"You really think that people with red hair will become beautiful," says Kushina as Yone nods he really wanted to grab the person to tell Kushina that she was ugly.

"Who was it by the way. Maybe I can talk to his parent about it," says Yone as Kushina shakes her head.

"I will deal with it on my own," says Kushina as she seemed to be motivated again.

Yone left her room as he meets his wife in the hall who says, "So we are outstanding beauties."

"Why did I lie?" asks Yone while smiling as he kissed his wife there.

"You aren't," says Mikoto as she kissed him back.

They began to make out when Mikoto says, "We can't now the kids are awake."

"Tonight then," says Yone as Mikoto kissed him to confirm it.

The investigation against Danzo was made public and many were against it until pieces of evidence were presented by the TI Forces making those protesting lose their footing and even their right to live in Konoha as they were conspirators of Danzo's scheme of taking over Konoha from the shadows.

Two months after the razzia on Root Danzo was publicly executed as well as his co-conspirators by Yone who burned them on the stake.
