章節 17: Devil Fruits Explained

The next day Yone left the village. He was on his way toward Uzushiogakure to get the Uzumaki that would become the new host.

'It seems we are back on the road,' thinks Yone looking at both his swords as he walked towards the eastern border.

In the meantime, Tsunade was in the Hokage's office with Hiruzen as she says, "Yone seems to believe that people that aren't Anbus are following his family. Do you know anything about that sensei?"

"Hmm, why does he believe someone is watching him?" asks Hiruzen as he was already thinking who it could be.

"He is becoming paranoid. You know our history the best. Madara became crazy because of his paranoia that the Uchihas were overwatched by the Senjus. What do you think could happen if Yone becomes the next Madara? We won't be able to stop him," says Tsunade trying to scare her teacher to make him respond to that situation.

"I will look into it. We can't afford a second Madara in our village before the war starts," says Hiruzen as Tsunade then leaves the room.

"*sighs* Danzo is not going quite subtle in how he is going on with the situation. I will have to punish him for touching something he shouldn't touch. We could all lose our life if something were to happen to Yone's family," says Hiruzen to himself remembering the day at the graveyard where Yone's eyes changed making him feel scared from all over again.

Hana and Hina were running in the courtyard of Tsunade's house as she still lived in their old home when suddenly a man appeared in front of them and tried to kidnap Hana making Hina scream.

Everyone in the house rushed to the courtyard as they suddenly find the man holding Hana while the man was lifted up by his neck by a Monkey with Golden Fur that was at least over 2,4m.

"Now I can't have you do this," says said monkey as he grips thicker together making the man gasp for air.

The Monkey took Hana from his hands and put her down while making them fall asleep so they wouldn't see what was happening next as he thickened more making the people that were watching him feel sick.

The head was hanging almost separated from the body if it wasn't for a neck that was now looking like a straw that's how thin it was. Then the monkey took both and walked towards the family and hands them over.

"It has been now twenty-three years since we meet the first time, Mito Uzumaki," says the monkey as Mito was surprised.

"That can't be," says Mito as the monkey nods.

"We should enter or I will have to kill more people. By the way, my name is Jack Parker. But you can call me Jack since Yone is my junior brother," says Jack as Mito was even more surprised.

They entered the house and sat down when Mito says, "You were the one with the chains that brought Yone to us."

"That's right," says Jack as Mito couldn't forget that voice.

"Why have you come here?" asks Tsunade as she looked at Jack angry thinking that Jack is Yone's father.

"I'm not his father. I took pity for Yone so I gave him a chance to change his life by giving him a second one. He doesn't even know that he is living a second life and I want it to be that way," says Jack as he looked at everyone in the room.

"Is that, why he didn't want to marry while in wartime?" asks Mito as Jack nods.

"Yes, but I won't say much more. I only came to protect his children until he returns," says Jack as he looked at them.

"Can you explain to us why Yone's flame body didn't get passed down to any of his children?" asks Dan as he was curious about that since it shouldn't be possible that all three didn't inherit it.

"That's quite simple. We gave him a Devil Fruit. Devil Fruits give you a special power depending on which one you eat. Some are overpowered and some are just trash. But they are unique making it impossible that his children inherit this trait from him," says Jack explaining why Yone's children didn't have his flame body.

"But since I'm here how about giving them a Devil Fruit," says Jack making the people around him open their eyes wide.

"And what do we have to pay for it?" asks Mito as she didn't believe they would get it for free.

"You already paid for it by raising Yone the right way," says Jack as a book appeared in his hand.

He puts it down and says, "Every fruit is inside this book. I will let you choose which fruit goes to which child but you can't feed them the fruit until they are six."

They went through the book as they found many interesting fruits in it. They were talking about it when Jack says, "The best fruits are said to be Logia and Paramecia. A Logia fruit is what Yone ate and became the Flame Man. But many Paramecia fruits are powerful like this one here."

Jack flipped the book until stopping at the Gum-Gum Fruit as he says, "In another world, someone with that fruit's power defeated almost every opponent in his way."

The pages changed again as now another fruit was shown when Jack says, "Then we have a Logia Fruit by the name of Rumble-Rumble fruit. The previous owner was almost Godlike because he was made out of Lightning. And the last fruit I recommend is"

The page changes again as it stopped on another page as he continues, "The Ice-Ice Fruit pretty self-explanatory if you ask me. You can make your children choose which one they want after they reach a certain age but I would like to see how son and father are the polar opposite of each other with Yone being Fire and Hori being Ice."

"Then we had Thunder and Rubber for the other two," says Jack smiling when Tsunade continues to look through the book when she sees two fruits that could be interesting.

"What about the Op-Op Fruit or the Heal-Heal Fruit?" asks Tsunade as Jack nods his head.

"They might be good on paper but you don't know about their shortcomings," says Jack as everyone looked confused at Jack as he continues, "They are quite powerful but the Heal-Heal Fruit shortens your lifespan with every use while the Op-Op Fruit is said to grant Immortality to another person if the person who ate it sacrifices himself."

This shocked the family as Jack says, "What do you think will happen if word about this comes out. They would try to get the user to make them immortal even more so when it is a child they don't even know."

"That would be too dangerous you are right," says Tsunade seeing her error as Jack claps his hand together.

"It's hard to find people that recognize their fault for example your teacher. He created a cancer for the village by accident," says Jack as Mito looked seriously at Jack.

"What do you mean?" asks Mito worried since her husband created this village and didn't want to see it fall.

"I want to leave that into Yone's hands. But I can tell you a bit about it. You know about Root right?" says Yone as everyone was confused while Mito looked seriously.

"You mean the second Anbu force under Danzo?" asks Mito as Jack nods.

"Aye, Danzo will do many horrible things in the future and is doing so right now. Hiruzen doesn't know about it or doesn't want to know about it but still he as the Hokage is as much at fault as Danzo," says Jack as he smiles at them.

"Just thinking how Yone will deal with him makes me feel excited," says Jack as the Senju family was completely confused.

"I need to inform sensei right away," says Tsunade as she tried to leave only to find black chains around herself.

"Sit down girl. You can inform the Monkey later," says Jack as Tsunade walked back to the table making the chains disappear.

"Aren't you the monkey here?" asks Nawaki nervous.

"I have the Bloodline of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King and Rebel that went against Heaven. It's normal that I look like this since I don't want to show my real appearance," says Jack as he looked at them.

"Now then which fruits should it be," asks Jack as he looked at them.

"We go with your recommendation," says Mikoto as she was the one responsible for the children right now.

"Good choice," says Jack as the three fruits appeared when he continues, "Also you only need to take a bite out of them not eat the whole fruit. It becomes disgusting after taking the first bite and the fruit loses its power."

"Understood," says Mikoto as another two fruits appeared.

"Those two are for Yone just in case someone comes to dangerous ideas," says Jack with a dangerous tone.

"What do you mean?" asks Mito as Jack looks at them seriously.

"There are two ways to gain the power of the fruit. One is to eat the fruit and the second is by eating the heart of the person possessing the power of the fruit," says Jack as the room turned quite cold at that moment.

"So if someone killed Yone and eats his heart then they would get a Flame Body," says Mito as she was horrified from hearing that.

"That's right. That's why I didn't want Tsunade to leave that fast. I want everyone in this room to stand still for a second," says Jack as they stood still when Jack wrote something in the air that flew towards them entering their head.

"What was that?" asks Dan nervous.

"That was a seal that will prevent anyone from reading your mind except me and my brother," says Jack as they looked confused.

"Your brother?" asks Tsunade as Jack nods.

"The second man that came with me to deliver Yone to the Senju Compound. Now you can leave Tsunade and no word about what happened today," says Jack as Tsunade left to inform her teacher while Jack sighs.

"The Timeline is beginning to break up as I thought," says Jack as Mito looked confused when Jack smiles.

"Don't worry it's turning for the better," says Jack with a smile reassuring them as he looked at the twins and Hori.

"The future generation might be stronger than Yone once they are grown up," says Jack as he petted both girls before looking at Hori and putting a finger on his forehead.

Then he says, "As said before I will be staying here and look after Yone's children until he returns. I will be sleeping on the roof until then."

Jack then disappears leaving everyone behind.
