When Grayson and Ari entered the castle, Declan is in the foyer waiting for them.

“I got your text,” Declan said, holding his phone. “What’s wrong?”

“We just learned that Marcus has been having secret meetings and inciting riots,” Grayson said. “He must be telling the people that my father is lying in an effort to take over the throne.”

“Where?” Declan. “I’ll take some men with me and pick him up.”

Grayson shook his head. “I don’t know exactly where, but it’s somewhere close to downtown.”

“I’ll send out some men to have a look around,” Declan said, already headed down the hallway with his phone to his ear.

Grayson pulled out his cell phone and dialed Xavier’s number.

“Where are you?” Grayson asked as soon as Xavier answered.

“Checking out the house since we haven’t been there in a while. What’s up?” Xavier asked. It sounded like he was outside.

Grayson told him everything. “Declan is sending some men to scout the town for him as we speak.”
