“Give me a minute and I’ll go with you.” Xavier told Grayson over breakfast the next morning.
Grayson patted his shoulder. “No, if and when I need you, I’ll let you know.”
Xavier shook his head, letting out a deep breath. “Grayson you don’t have to do this alone.”
“I know... believe me.” Grayson wanted to have this conversation later, but Xavier needed to know now. “Xavier, I need to tell you something.”
“What’s that?” Xavier asked, taking a sip of his tea.
Grayson sighed as he buttered a piece of toast. “I don’t want to jump the gun, but when the time comes that I do become King, I was going to make you my Royal Advisor.”
Xavier smiled. “I think I already am.”
Grayson laughed. “Yes, but you’ll get the official title then.”
“You do realize that I will have to know everything then, right?” Xavier raised an eyebrow expectantly.
