The next morning, they were making breakfast Schaffe had a fire in a barrel under a manhole that had holes in it.
"Man, I could have lived in sewers when I got out of the vault," said Schaffe.
"True," said Phil. He was at the terminal. He looks and sees that The Other Jess is active. "Oh, we can call here now."
"Shit, test it out," said Schaffe. Phil presses the call button and they wait before they hear her.
"Hello?" asked The Other Jess on the speaker.
"Hey, it's us we made contact with the other camp," said Phil.
"Ah, so did you meet him?" The other Jess asked.
"Yeah, meet Punk. but something was off. He told us to fuck off," said Schaffe.
"I was afraid of that," said The Other Jess. "He has been like that since Our Phil died."
"Wait, your Phil came out of hiding?" asked Schaffe.
"Yes, it was around we all came here," said The Other Jess. "We came here to find you but what we found was this mess and suddenly. Phil from here came here and he headed for the strange tower which was still in the process of being made. He would end up heading to it which end his life."
"I see. Not even my other me was able to try to change him back," said Phil.
"It opens our eyes if anything. It's what we wanted at first but now it's a big mess," said The Other Jess.
"He does not want to go back. It's like he waiting for something else," said Schaffe.
"Well, I feared he would be like this to you. He probably wants to kill you if anything which I never understand," said The Other Jess.
"I cannot change him now," said Schaffe. "He has his reasons. I can only try to help him with his deathclaw problem."
"Yes, so I have a location where The other Deadly Beasts are," said The Other Jess. "There is an Airport where the beast, Amon is. He does not help Diablo. He chooses to live a solitary life there."
"What that does not make sense," said Schaffe.
"He rather feed on wildlife than humans but there is a reason for that," said The Other Jess. "He has no problem at the moment. So, I would not bother with him. But the one who gives Punk a problem is Avaritia, he is a menace to people, especially at night. It's why Punk has those walls made. He hunts during the night with other deathclaws."
"So, during the day he sleeps?" asked Schaffe.
"Caught on I see. He takes refuge in the railyard around there during the day," said The Other Jess.
"I guess it's our first hit then," said Phil.
"Be careful he's a bit more dangerous than Luxra was," said The Other Jess.
"We will be fine," said Schaffe. "As long as the king does not show up this time."
"Then I wish you luck in your hunt then," said The Other Jess. She hangs up.
"I guess we got our next beast," said Phil.
"Attacking him during the day is probably our best choice," said Schaffe.
