Gina still couldn't say anything when she saw dozens of shopping bags containing new clothes and several other items in her room.

"What's this?" Gina asked innocently.

Vanessa, who was still in Gina's room, immediately approached Gina who had just returned from a leisurely walk with Barbara. "All this stuff is yours, honey. Mommy hope Mommy's choice is to your liking."

"My stuff?"

"Yes, Mommy and Daddy went shopping earlier. We had to give this all to you because you have twice refused Mommy's invitation to go shopping," Vanessa answered excitedly as she embraced Julian's arm affectionately.

Gina smiled faintly at what her stepmother was doing.

"That's right, Gina. We chose all of this earlier, Daddy hopes you like it," said Julian softly, responding to Vanessa's words with a warm smile.

"Thank you."
