Chapter 7
There are still 3 months left before the school starts, and Nikko had long received the letter of acceptance, he was placed in the secret class where the mightiest of the students are placed, it surprised Nikko as he had never heard of it before, but the class name is 1-S.
Nikko still hasn't known anything about this class, but it seems, Tori and Nana are in class 1-A, he doesn't really mind, he was now interested in what this class 1-S is, anyways, today, Nikko decided to stroll around the Musutafu city.
"Hmm, this fruit tastes weird," Nikko commented as he bit at the fruit he had just bought. It was a weird blue fruit with swirling things on it. He didn't know where he had seen it but it looked quite familiar. Anyways, he finished the fruit in one go.
"Blergh," Nikko immediately wanted to puke it as the taste became very terrible, it was very different from the most terrible he had eaten in his past life, he tried to puke but only saliva came out from his mouth, he immediately out a napkin and wiped the saliva all over his mouth.
"I'm never going to buy strange fruits again," Nikko commented as he drank the bottle of juice on his hand, he then continued strolling around from place to place, buying some foods that were not weird and sightseeing some great spots.
As he was walking around the city, he could see many people were running away from a street, they seemed to be panicking, he could see some heroes were also going towards that direction, "A villain? That's rare," Nikko commented as the city had been peaceful for a long time now.
Nikko casually walked towards that direction without caring for the people who tried to warn him, Nikko looked at the scene where a villain was holding a girl taking her as hostage, the villain had a unique quirk which he could turn his hands into a gun.
The gun was pointed on the girl's head, Nikko frowned as he saw the girl was struggling from the grasps of the villain, 'She can't breathe,' Nikko thought as he saw the pale expression of the girl, he looked around and saw the heroes and police were not doing anything, they were trying to talk with the villain not noticing the girl was struggling to gasp for air.
"Fools," Nikko said as he disappeared from his position and reappeared behind the villain, he then sent a chop on the villains neck knocking him out, the girl was freed from the grasp of the villain and started breathing heavily, Nikko didn't care about the villain and helped the girl.
The heroes and police around were late to react from what happened and immediately rushed forward to apprehend the fainted villain, the heroes also came.
"Are you okay now?" Nikko asked the girl.
"Yes, thank you," the girl said.
"Here is a bottle of water," Nikko handed a bottle of water.
"Kid, did you know what you did is reckless!" one of the heroes yelled at him.
Nikko frowned, he was already feeling angry from what they were doing earlier, the prideful personality he was suppressing was slowly coming out, Nikko turned his head and looked at the hero who reprimanded him, "Then would you tell me, why were you only watching?" Nikko asked.
Nikko was now tall for the kids on his age, his body is well developed and his black hair had grown a little longer which made him look handsome, looking down at the hero who was a little shorter than him, "We are doing the proper procedures, if we do something, the villain would kill the girl," the hero said.
"I see, you are a coward in short," Nikko said.
"What did you say!? You are very disrespectful!" the hero yelled towards him.
"Don't yell at me coward," Nikko said.
"Why you!" the hero was getting angry.
"Failing to take a risk to save someone, failing to notice the innocent is struggling; tell me coward, why do you call yourself a hero?" Nikko asked, his tone had greatly changed.
The hero opened his mouth and wanted to refute but no words came out from his mouth, not just him but every hero around who heard Nikko didn't know what to say.
"You are no hero, you are just a spineless coward using the word hero to gain prestige, don't lump yourselves tainting the title: Hero," Nikko said glaring at all of them, he then finally noticed that the personality he had been suppressing had come out, he sighed and walked away.
Nikko was at the river staring at the calm water, just then a figure stood beside him, Nikko turned his head and saw Roku who was wearing his hero costume which was quite odd to be called a costume, "You did good knocking out the villain earlier," Roku said.
"Well, I thank you for the compliment," Nikko replied.
"But, I know you know using quirk without a hero license is illegal right?" Roku said.
"I didn't even use my quirk, I just used my breathing technique and rushed behind him as fast as I could," Nikko replied.
"That breathing form is really broken, you know, it cannot be called a quirk but a form of martial arts, and it's self-created when you were still a kid," Roku said in defeat.
"I taught you how to do it, but you started running away 3 days later," Nikko said.
"Stop it, don't make me remember your deep hell training," Roku said.
Nikko only laughed as Roku laughed along, "Also have you finished your hero costume?" Roku asked.
"Yeah, It's done, I need a weapon though, but I will forge it on my own, next week maybe," Nikko said..
"Haha, I can't wait to see that," Roku said.
"Yeah, I will show it to you," Nikko said with a smile, yet it seems, he won't be able to do it.
3 days later, villains started appearing around, they were getting active and active, heroes were getting busy, it was the same for Roku, Nana and Nikko were both playing in the living room when Nikko felt his instincts tingling, he immediately grabbed Nana then ran towards the window and jumped outside.
*Boom!
The house they were staying in exploded, Nikko covered Nana from the falling debris and rocks with his back, it didn't really hurt as Nikko's body was already strong, a few moments later, Nikko turned around and saw their house destroyed.
He then turned his head and saw a man wearing a black suit floating on the air, he had short white hair and a creepy smile on his face, the man turned his head towards him and Nana then raised his hands.
*Boom!
Fire came out from the man's palm and charged towards Nikko and Nana, 'No! I must protect Nana' Nikko thought as he covered Nana, just then a figure dashed in front of them and punched the empty air.
*Boom!
The fist and the fire collided until the fire dispersed and Nikko saw who it was, "Roku!" Nikko called out to him.
"Sorry, I'm late," Roku said.
"What the hell man, don't bring your problems to the house!" Nikko said.
"Hell no, I didn't bring him here," Roku said as he blocked another attack from the guy.
"So who is that?" Nikko asked as he helped Nana stand up.
"You remember the guy I told you about, that's him, All For One," Roku said.
'All for one? And the hell, he still has hair?' Nikko thought as he looked at All for One, "Haha, that's a great introduction Roku," All for One said with a laugh as he continued floating on the air.
"Nana," Roku called out to Nana.
"Roku," Nana slowly woke up as she fainted from the explosion earlier.
"Nik, could you feed her this," Roku said as he handed a strand of his hair to Nikko.
Nikko didn't speak and shoved the hair unto Nana's mouth, she tried to struggle but she was still forced to, she tried to cough out the hair from her mouth but nothing came out, "How could you do that!" Nana yelled as she started punching Nikko.
All for One who was being ignored attacked again, but Roku blocked his attack.
*Boom!
"Get her away from here Nik," Roku said as he clenched his fist that was trembling for a while now.
"I'll be back," Nikko said as he carried Nana away.
"Niknik, what are you doing!? I will go and help Roku!" Nana yelled but Nikko turned a deaf ear and carried her away.
At a very fast speed, Nikko was able to carry Nana away, he stopped at the familiar house of Tori and knocked on the door.
"What is it?" Tori came out from the door and asked.
"Take her fast! Don't let her go no matter what" Nikko said as he gave Nana to Tori.
"What is happening!?"Tori asked.
"I will tell you later," Nikko said before disappearing.
…
Nikko arrived back and saw the destruction on the place had gotten worse, he could see Roku and One for All were still fighting, but it seems Roku was on his limit, Nikko dashed towards One for All and sent a punch towards him.
All for one noticed this and raised his hands which changed into a very big arm.
*Boom!
All for one didn't expect the power of the punch so he was sent flying, Nikko turned his head towards the injured Roku, "Are you still alive?" Nikko asked.
"Yeah, I'm still alive," Roku said with a smile still at the corner of his mouth a blood was leaking.
Nikko saw his state and felt rage all over his body, he had seen many die in front of him, his comrades in war, his loved ones, but why, why could his emotions overwhelm him this time? Nikko clenched his fist, he never got this angry before, he was losing himself, he couldn't think properly anymore, rage, rage is swirling around his mind, blocking all of his senses.
Just as he was about to lose himself from rage, he felt a pat on his back, Nikko turned around and saw Roku smiling at him, then behind him was All for One, his hand piercing the chest of Roku, "Don't be like that Nik, that isn't like you, come on smile, smile for me one last time," Roku said as he caressed Nikko's cheeks.
Unknown to Nikko tears slowly came out from the corner of his eyes, but still he let out a big smile in front of Roku,
"What a good father you are Roku," All for one said, he then raised his other hand intending to finish Roku off, Nikko disappeared from his position and reappeared in front of All for One.
*Boom!
All for one was sent flying as a punch landed on his face.
Nikko didn't chase after him and grabbed Nikko who was going to fall down, Nikko bent his knees on the ground and let Roku's head lie on his lap.
"I'm sorry, Nik, It looks like I won't be able to see you and Nana on your costumes," Roku said as he forced himself to smile.
"Stop smiling you idiot," Nikko said as his tears continued falling from the corner of his eyes.
"Haha, take care of Nana okay, don't let anything happen to her," Roku said as he coughed some blood.
"Yeah," Nikko nodded.
"Nik, was I a good father?" Roku asked for the last time.
"No, you suck at it, you suck at cooking, you suck at cleaning, you suck at everything, you.." Nikko continued saying things to Roku.
Roku only smiled as he slowly felt the strength on his body slowly leaving him, "You were a great man Roku," Nikko last said as he saw Roku stopped his breathing and his body was motionless on his face was the smile he gave to Nikko.
"Rest in peace, my friend," Nikko said as he used his hands to close the eyes of Roku and slowly laid his head on the ground, he then stood up and turned his head towards All for One who had his face covered in blood.
"Haha, have you said your farewell kid?" All for One mockingly said.
"Yeah, now it's my turn to say goodbye to you, don't worry, it won't be an easy good bye," Nikko said.
