The creature suddenly froze, its silhouette turning in Hao Xuan's direction.
"You can...do that?? NO! LIES! You are lying just like him!"
Or so it said but it did not attack him again.
Hao Xuan smiled inwardly seeing the hesitation since that probably meant that it believed him to some extent.
"No, I am not him, I've already said that," he repeated, "He lives in my soul and sometimes gets out when I am weak, but that won't happen again."
It slowly staggered back to its feet, "Then...how can I go home?"
Hao Xuan sheathed the sword and slowly walked towards it. He still could not see what it actually looked like. Only its silhouette warped the light around it giving one the impression that something was there.
"Firstly, can you tell me your name?"
It hesitated but then shook its body in response, "I do not have one. We never needed them."
