She was filled with sorrow when Aayiz came home without bringing any good news last night. Even when she tried her very best to tone down her excitement and expectation, there were still excesses of it. 

Unfortunately, the djinn was unable to pay the apartment another visit due to his work commitment. If only they could find a loophole to the measly and annoying curse, she would be more than willing to visit the place herself since lazing about was all she did. 

Of course, none of this would happen if she had waited for an explanation. Regrets would be insufficient and considered as an understatement to the current situation. After all, it was out of her willingness the night she stepped out of that place. 

Nobody forced her to run away, and nobody ordered her to hide from the naked eye. Now that she had nothing, what was the use of playing the blaming game? Only after losing someone did she realise the actual value of their presence.
