Morning came, and Davian had brought Rafeek with him to visit. He was not interested in any visitors, let alone discussing matters of little importance to him.

He turned his body the other way, letting them know their presence was not welcome. If he looked pathetic in their eyes, so be it. None matters unless it involved Sara.

Dejected was all he felt when she was already so close in his grasp. No news could take him out of the glum aside from the good news about his wife.

The tall and muscular build person stepped into the room nonetheless, ignoring the silent request from Lucas. He ushered Davian to do the same as he sat on one of the sofas.

It was a good half an hour spent in silence, but neither one of them budged or took the initiative to talk. When the air felt calmer and the tensed atmosphere dissipated, the jet black wavy-haired man cleared his throat and broke the silence.
