章節 34: Intention to kill

Lady Daphne was frightened by the look of Lucas' eyes, it was filled with an intention to kill. The closer Lucas got to her, the more she stepped backwards, hoping a nurse would come in to check on her or the two bodyguards outside her door to barge in when they sensed the room was too quiet.

But nobody entered.

Lucas' eyes started to glimmer with pleasure as his hands were now inching closer to her neck. The evil grin made his appearance to be deathlier than he normally looks. Lady Daphne is now at his mercy as she begged for forgiveness.

She offered to talk it out with the council members to clear Lucas name but to no avail. Lucas was not interested to hear any of her nonsense anymore.

"It's too late now. I have already carried out my wrongly accused punishment. Maybe it's time for yours.' Lucas voice has turned blood curdling and sinister, terrifying Lady Daphne who was crying on the floor kneeling and begging for his mercy.
