Sky stood beside Aiyana and Chris as they waited for Sierra to land, clutching at the bouquet of white calla lilies. He knew them to be her favorite. He had woken up with his head still on Aiyana’s lap as Chris and her whispered about nonsensical things. He like a child had kept them shut a little while longer as he heard them talk, feeling envious of them. He wanted that easiness someday.
