章節 21: Chapter Twenty: Conditions
(Emi's POV)
"A deal?" I spoke softly as she nodded. "Look, I'm the only option we have of getting out of here alive. I can't have you die, because if you do then I do as well. Let me take control or your body. Only long enough to escape." She offered as I raised my eyebrow.
"Why do I feel like your not the type to make a deal unless your getting something in return?" I questioned as she shrugged and giggled. "Because your a smart girl. I'll help you and give you control of me if..." her voice trailed off as she tapped her chin and smiled evilly.
"Let me have a taste of human blood." She shivered and licked the bars that kept her in. I sighed, known this probably was not a good idea. But, what other option did I have? "And how would I be able to re-take control of you?" I asked, cautious to have all of the information I needed before making a decision.
She sighed as she walked over to the wall, a dark black chain that was connected around Kami's throat. A thick deep purple aura was wrapped around the chain. "This is pure magnesium mixed with a spell from an old friend of mine." She rolled her eyes.
" I can't do anything unless my master says otherwise. And that master is you." She explained, like I was supposed to know this already. I sighed and rubbed my temples as my gold eyes studied her face. "Okay..how do I go about controlling you?" I asked, getting a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach.
The corners of Kami's mouth curled as she walked over to the door, gesturing down at the lock. "You have to enter my prison, and give some of your own blood...to me." Her gaze shot up to meet mine as I gulped. "Okay.. on a few conditions first." I explained as she pouted. After a few seconds she sighed to herself.
"Fine. What are the conditions?" She asked as i lifted my head a bit. "You can not harm any civilians, or others who I deem safe. Understand?" I stated as she nodded. "Fine. As long as I get to kill the ones you don't." She smirked as i sighed. "Also, no making major decisions unless I say so. I make all the rules, got it?" I added as she rolled her eyes and put her hands on her curvy hips.
"You're a demanding one aren't you? As long as I get to stretch my legs a bit, and taste some blood that's all I care about." She admitted as I grabbed the cold metal door handle, the loud freak of the old gears echoed through the cave as I kept my eyes on her. She held her hands up and took a few steps back as I walked into the cage and closed the door behind me.
