"beep, beep, beep" is all  can hear as l slowly gain consciousness. My eyes feel heavy and no matter how hard l try, l struggle to tear them apart. The smell of disinfect enveloping me deep in its clutches. I can hear voices in the background but none of them sound familiar and l cannot make sense of what they are saying

The more l fight it, the more fatigued l feel and l feel my body slowly succumb to the pain and misery that the air around breathes out and all l can see is darkness, more vivid than before
