'How did Saito have the courage?' he asked himself in thought. He couldn't believe that Saito had gone after Jun to make their relationship even worse.
Jun was scrutinizing him, seeming to read his thoughts.
"It wasn't like this…." Haruki started to explain himself, but Jun interrupted him with eyes gleaming with rage, asking,
"When you refused my kiss and left saying you were going to Zumba class, it was because you had already kissed him. And you were in a hurry to go get more. Tell me, Haruki. How should I call you now?" Jun continued to pressure Haruki. He wanted a confession of the singer's betrayal.
"Jun, the situation had another context..." Haruki started to explain, but was interrupted again.
"No, Haruki. I won't waste my time anymore. You can fuck with anyone else here. You are dead to me." Jun left.
Haruki still stood there with the cat on his lap. His vision was totally blurry by tears. Mimi rubbed herself on his shoulder, sympathetic to the singer.
The singer recalled the events of the previous day, concluding that he alone was guilty of having destroyed his relationship with Jun.
"I didn't mean to end like this. I screwed it, Mimi!"
Even admitting this to himself, Haruki could imagine himself in the near future, with Jun begging to hear the story from his point of view. And he would reply,
'You didn't let me explain myself that night, Jun. Now I am the one with no time to lose with you.'
The singer stayed a while leaned sat on the floor of the service alley, arguing with Jun inside his head. A discussion where he could explain everything, justify the kiss, clear out the misunderstandings.
In his mind.
'Okay, I'm fed of it. Enough Dramarama. I'm tired of being a muggle. And Saito... Wait for me, I have something for you too. Exposing me like that.' Haruki breathed a lot, making up his mind, until he stood up, a bit calmer.
He still had a lot to do, such as buying a car.
******
At Monde Car, focusing on picking a car was hard for Haruki.
First, Jun's accusations 2. Saito's betrayal 3. Mimi was thrown into the dump to die 4. Daisuke's blackmail.
All important events that mixed in Haruki's mind. He needed a plan on how to resolve each of these situations. In addition to the fear that weighed his heart, Haruki feared that Jun would be bulldozered in the ring.
Just remembering the image of the android gladiator and his rank, Haruki could picture the machine attacking in a series of quick straight punches, interspersing with a cross and finishing Jun with an uppercut to the chin. The stupid Jun hitting the canvas, drop-dead as in the sad stories of veteran fighters who agree to return to the ring to die fighting... 'What does Jun want to prove? Or is it just because of the thrill of the moment? '
Haruki's blood boiled when he concluded Jun was going to get hurt just to prove he was the best. He grunted in outrage,
"Grr!"
He struggled to get focus and choose the best car model for himself. It was the first time he had bought a vehicle, and the singer didn't want to be doing it alone.
"At least I have you Mimi, to help me choose," Haruki spoke to the kitten sniffing all the tires in the store.
Haruki opted for a brand known to withstand a lot of impact and not break easily. Toyota was perfect. The model that won him over was the Gazoo Racing, which he already had in its history, a victory on the sands of Dakar - probably the most important rally in the world. At least it was what was written in the totem. Its internal space was suitable. Haruki could sleep in the car if necessary.
Even so, the singer used the last diamonds to buy the survival items that Saito had explained were vital in the desert.
'Saito', just thinking about the mountaineer to rub the kiss in Jun's face brought back the heartburn to his chest. Taking a deep breath, the singer controlled himself. Each thing at its own time.
'Was it Saito who mistreated Mimi?' Jun had denied it was him, which Haruki wanted to believe with all his might. And he had suggested that the climber was the author of the attempted murder of the kitten.
Haruki also wanted Saito to deny it, he didn't want any of them to have done it, to be honest. But it had happened and one of the five guys did it.
Turning his attention to the technical sheet in his hands, Gazoo Racing had a bonus. It was a smart car that self-adjusted the electrical system during the ride. Automatically changing the schedule according to temperature, brightness, and terrain to always have the best performance. Ideal for the singer who had a license two years ago, but drove very little. To make sure it wouldn't be a fiasco like Hinata with his car, Haruki took the test drive in the simulator. At the end of it, he felt that driving that car was too easy.
'And if I recover my points of dexterity I lost doing the show, I will be even better!' High dexterity was his best advantage. Even his mood had improved when he left the store.
Now, Haruki was the owner of a spacious Toyota, which he drove through the City of Dreams. The city was beautifully lit for anyone to appreciate.
'Where's Takashi at ?!' The singer wondered, riding the empty streets. He so wanted to show his car to his friend!
It wasn't like he wanted everyone / Jun to see him driving. To his disappointment, he found no one. Mimi started to meow and paced the panel uneasily.
The singer decided to return to the suite to feed the kitten again. When parking in front of the water square, his favorite place, Mimi ran to a small garden with grass and stones, where it relieved herself.
'Damn, now he doesn't have a litter box and I don't have any more diamonds.' The singer regretted having spent all of his resources.
"Mimi as soon as I find out who did it, the first thing I am going to do is to make him buy everything available at the cat store. And then I'll break the nose of whoever threw you out."

"Dice-k, Jun-senpai listens to you. You just need to tell him to accept our help. Takashi and I have enough diamonds to help. If you talk to him, ask him..."
Haruki heard Hinata's voice talking to someone he assumed was Daisuke. The senior student was supposed to be talking about Jun.
Haruki stopped walking to continue listening to the conversation, but Mimi denounced his sneaky arrival, meowing when he smelled food.
The singer walked over to the table,
"Hi, Hinata and Daisuke, I want to talk to you," Haruki spoke harshly. It made the senior student cringe, but Daisuke just narrowed his eyes.
Haruki spat the words,
"Who threw Mimi in the dump?"
