Ivan knew that he would not be able to refuse his mom as she was quite persistent when it came to talk about this kind of things..

"Fine Mom. But may I know the reason of this all of a sudden plan?" Ivan said sitting on his bed cross legged.

"Yes.. You can definitely know about it. Actually, Laura invited us so that we can spend some family time together.

Ivan frowned and said, "But mom.. I haven't helped her to get thanks from uncle and aunty..

As soon as Ava kept the phone away after talking with Ivan, George who was sitting beside his wife all along the time she kept talking with their son suddenly smirked.

"So you guys have planned the dinner only to have a friendly dinner. Nothing more, right?" he asked teasingly while raising both of his eyebrows.

Ava sheepishly smiled at her husband and said, "You know the reason really well, honey. So why are you teasing me now?"

"Am I really teasing you, wifey? I'm just asking you the actual reason." George stated with an innocent face.

Rolling her eyes at him, she playfully hit his chest and warned him in her strict voice, "George.. Don't you dare to play with me."

"Trust me, honey. I'm not playing with you." George tried to protect himself from his wife's wrath.

"You're acting like you don't care about it whereas I thought that you are on the cloud nine at the news of settling Ivan and Elysia in an arranged marriage.

But seems like I mistook your feelings for our son's marriage into a happy one." Ava glared at him at first and then started complaining to him.

George very well knew that his wife was faking her hurt expression but still it bothered him a lot.

After all, he was so much in love with his beautiful wife that he could never tolerate to see any sadness on her face.
