章節 11: Suotuo Arena
In Suotuo City, over the crowded main street, three walking figures attracted the view of most passersby. They were a boy with two girls, one at each side. The girls were incredibly beautiful and the boy was extremelly handsome. They didn't move with noble's manners, but somehow they had a distinctive charm around them that made everyone gaze focus on them, but at the same time, not daring to approach.
They were precisely were Haotian, Meijing and Biyun who had just arrived to the city and were calmly sightseeing it.
The travel to Suotuo City had been without any problem, simply 3 days by carriage enjoying some time of peace and the new surroundings. They had found that Suotuo City was a far grander city than the previous one with wide streets to walk surrounded by tall buildings.
The main street was all crowded, seemingly like an eternal festival with stalls at either side selling food or other accessories.
Today, Haotian decided that there was no need for cloaks as he really wasn't in a hurry or nothing. Letting the destiny move. Anyway, his main objective to go to Suotuo City was to discover in which time he was.
Haotian was sure that it was the first douluo, him not having much different age than the protagonist, due to the technology around, most of it basic, with ancient spirit artifact that seemed taken from a typical cultivation world and that before he awakened his spirit, he had listened his grandfather talking about the Clear Sky Clan hiding away, that it was a pity not being able to take the Clear Sky Hammer for the clan. He was also worried that the dates that he remembered weren't exact, so he preferred to take an important event as a start.
As the three were walking, the girls were observing their new surroundings while Haotian was thinking about how to find the timeline, thinking to visit Shrek and see the condition there or maybe asking around as Shrek should by quiet famous in Suotuo City.
He was waiting to plan his further plans until he knew about the timeline.
While he was immersed in his thought, he felt someone tugging his sleeve. He turned to the right seeing Meijing pointing at something.
"Look, Tian!" She pointed at the end of the main street, at a alone and enormous building in the form of a colosseum. "There's a fighting arena here. We can go and see it, maybe even fighting there a little" She said excitedly.
Huotian turned to the arena that was incredible crowded, a lot of people entering and leaving from it. Outside some workers were announcing it, trying to attract people in.
"The strongest spirit masters of their rank! The most excited matches! They are all here at Suotuo Spirit Arena!" They were shouting "Tonight special match will be between two undefeated teams of our Arena, Shrek Seven Devils against the Emperor Team. Don't lose the opportunity to see it. The ticked are running out!"
'Wait a moment' Huotian stopped still, causing the girls to look at him strangely 'The Emperor Team against Shrek? So it's after Tang San's third ring' He made a thoughtful face, all the ideas that he was thinking about knowing the timeline, becoming useless and quickly forgotten of his mind.
"Are you fine, Tian?" Meijing asked with concern.
Huotian looked at her and smiled. "Nothing wrong. Let's go to the arena, I want to see that special match."
Haotian's group went towards the Arena, directing towards the booth selling the tickets. It was a bit pricy but they had enough money to buy it.
The match would be in 3 hours so they have some time before it so they walked around Suotuo City and ate something over their stalls.
After 2 and a half hours, they went towards the Arena, directly towards the main stage where the match would occur. Entering the Arena was like entering a completely new world, lights, machines and a lot of things that made Haotian remember his last modern life. It was like crossing over the future.
"It might be the wonders of spirit powers" Haotian quietly said "Anyway, this place surely smells money." It wasn't only the seat area and the big arena that were luxurious, there was also the audience. Most of it seemed to be some kind of nobles or rich merchant with that air of arrogance without even true power around them, with their respective grins as they looked down at others that caused people to want to punch their faces.
Haotian's group quietly sat in their seats, waiting for the match to start. The girls were very excited, letting themselves being influenced by the atmosphere, looking forward to seeing their first team battle over an arena, their eyes shining with stars in them while Haotian kept his cool and calmly and thoroughly investigated his surroundings, trying to learn the maximum of it.
"Welcome to our Suotuo Spirit Arena" A beautiful girl appeared over the stage, being the host. She was followed by music and some fireworks, trying to cheer the audience for the match. Finally, she presented the teams "On one side, having started with our Arena and with a winning streak of 27 matches, they are Shrek Seven Devils!"
From one of the gates, the Shrek Seven Devils came towards the ring, directly positioning in their battle formation. Xiao Wu, Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing at the front, then Tang San followed by Ma Hongjun and Oscar and Ning Rongrong at the front.
It was incredible easy to recognize everyone for Haotian. They all were very similar to their manga part, some better explained over the novel. A little mask over their faces, hiding their eyes did very little to hide them.
Haotian started analyzing them, focusing on the girls for obvious reasons. It was always better to watch cute girls than boys and for Haotian's cultivation, they were extremely important. He must say that they were all extreme beauties at the level of his own girls, each one with their unique charm.
Ning Rongrong was the tiniest of all. She had beautiful pink hair reaching her shoulders and a fair and delicate skin. Her movements were very refined, showing the manner of a noble. She seemed like a very cute fairy.
Zhu Zhuqing was the most developed, her body already of a charming young woman. She was the tallest, with long flowing black hair and fair skin. She was very slender, except for her enormous breast for her age that forcefully attracted every man's gaze. Her steps were light, almost without doing any sound.
Lastly, it was Xiao Wu. Nothing of her really stood over the other, causing anyone on focus all over girl. It wasn't a bad thing, she was simply too perfect. She had almost the perfect proportions, only needing a little longer for her to grow. With long legs, rosy face, average chest size and incredible ass. She was like a perfect doll. The only thing apart was her hair that was a beautiful brown hair tied into a scorpion braid, changing a little the aura around her.
"On the other side and recently arrived at our Arena, with 2 one-sided and overwhelming victories, the Emperor Team!" The host announced.
From the other gate, seven more figures approached the ring, also already in formation. In this case, it was more difficult to recognize them for Haotian as he even had forgotten some of theirs names. It had been some years since he had read the novel and while the main characters were easy to remember, most secondaries were blurred in his memory.
With the help of the host and they really not trying to hide their names, their formation was. Shi Mò and Shi Mó at the front, being impossible to difference between them, followed by Yu Tianheng. Then it came Osler, Dugu Yan and Yu Feng, with Xie Lingling at their back.
Like with Shrek, Haotian focused on the girls. While in the novel their talent wasn't on par with Shrek's girls, in the end, they were nobles with some of the most powerful spirits over the continent.
Dugu Yan was tall with long flowing red hair and a pair of bewitching green eyes. She moved with the elegance of a noble, but unfortunately also with the arrogance of one, a grin over her face as she looked down at her rivals who were nothing except a prey for her.
Xie Lingling had a graceful figure. She had long deep blue hair like the sea, draped across her shoulders and back like a waterfall. Her eyes were of the same color as her hair, but they were dull, without showing any emotion at all. While she was very beautiful, she seemed more of an emotionless doll, her posture so still that she seemed to not even breathe.
Lastly, it was Yu Feng. With her boy's clothes and her hair short, she might be able to hide her true gender from most people, but not from Haotian. Haotian's spirit made his body and sense far stronger than normal spirit master, it was especially sensitive about hormones due to the nature of his spirit. He was sure of it, being able to smell it from her, she was a girl crossdressing.
'The most probable is that like in the manga, she would be Bai Chenxiang' Haotian made a thoughtful face.
She seemed a handsome youth with an average weight and short spiky golden hair. She had a pair of energetic brown eyes that looked excited as she looked at the Shrek team, her desire and eagerness to fight reflected in them.
"Start!" The host announced and both teams quickly started fighting. The fight went more or less how Haotian remembered from the novel. Yu Tianheng directly falling into a trap at the start, DAi Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing's spirit fusion taking some outs while the others were kept at bait until Tang San finished them all.
Haotian exhaustively observed the fight, especially focusing on their interactions as it would be vital to choose his path. His spirit was truly unusual and he needed to be very careful when choosing the girls or he would fall far behind, reaching dead ends.
As the match finished, people started leaving the Arena, but Haotian stood sat on his chair with a thoughtful expression, planning while Biyun and Meijing tried to not bother him in his trance-like state.
"I already have decided" Haotian stood up and turned towards his girls "We already have enough money" Haotian showed a paper bet with Shrek Seven Devils' victory. Knowing that they will win, Haotian had bet over them with all their remaining money, gaining an incredible amount due to the odds. "Now, we will go to..."
