章節 145: Pillow Smothering

Empress Li Xiu could not imagine the amount of stress that was inside her second son. This was way worse than the last time that when Prince Qui and the princess missed dinner. Tonight, she kept her hands busy on a painting as her son paced four feet left and right. 

"It's like you have a worm in your stomach. What is it?" Tonight, she planned to spend the night alone. It was one of those nights in a week that she was not to be bothered by anybody, but here was her son.

She needed to be a mother but she needed to be herself as well at times. She did not know why it was getting harder. 

"It's Qui again, isn't it?" she almost laughed at the thought but at the same time she wanted to slap her son. Why on earth was he getting too bothered about that harlot's son?!
