A day had passed. Dr. Jaia met with her ex-husband Gedon in a cafe in Eulim City. Two cups of cafe latte were served together with two slices of blueberry cheesecake.

"You should have told me over the phone, Jaia. I know you are very busy… especially now, that there are some sort of problems within your workplace," He reached out to the cup of coffee and sipped it. He had expected it to be sweeter due to the special woman he was having coffee with, but for some reason, it had some sort of bitterness. He called the waitress and requested it to have extra sugar.

"Gedon… I know we agreed to end everything between us, but…"

Gedon placed his cup of coffee back on the table, raised his arm towards her, gesturing a stop. "I know. I know you need something. This is connected to the recent scandal of D.M. Cadre, right?"

She nodded, "Yes. I need your help with advertising about the great achievements of D.M. Cadre, as well as financial help for the lab-"
