They can be expensively demanding at times," Amanda said as her knife scraped on the surface of the medium-rare steak. "Can I ask for your usual financial assistance, Gedon?"

"I refuse. You know that I only assisted you because of Jaia," Gedon responded coldly, "But now, Jaia and I had cut ties with each other."

"What?!" Amanda exclaimed, dropping the knife on her hands and it fell on the floor. "But why?"

"I'm going to leave every decision to my nephew here," he pointed to Leo, who's helping Lia cut her meat, "From now on, everything will depend on his judgment."
