This is based on the horror game Darkwood, and it is set in the darkwood, which has trapped the native inhabitants with its rapid growth, although not everything is as it seems, even in the first chapter. After a short prologue follow the journey of the Stranger, a foreigner of this land and disfigured by the plague ravaging the land. Cover is not done by me, it was done by the game developers (duh) and I took inspiration (cough) from many different steam posts online. The prologue is 100% written by me though, with no inspiration other than the game's prologue taken to the artistic liberty extreme. I hope that people who haven't played darkwood can also enjoy this novel, and if you think my novel is too inspired by something (cough) don't hesitate to let me know and I'll change it.
