Aya turned her head away from Carl, smiling shyly. "Don't tease me."
"But I have to tease you, Aya. It is my job as your brother to give you a bit of teasing."
Aya chuckled. "That is true, I have one wish now."
"And what is your wish?"
"I would love to see Hoseok on stage, I want to feel that energy and to show my support."
Carl squatted next to her. "Hoseok would be so happy to hear that."
Aya got a faraway look in her eyes. "Yes, he would be so happy to hear that. Too bad, I won't be able to go."
Carl placed his hand on her shoulder. "You won't be in this situation for too long, Aya."
"You are right, Carl. I just have to be positive." Aya stood up. "I'll get to my other duties."
Carl stood as well. "Alright, I'll call you if I need you."
"Sure." Aya walked with the puppies at her feet, outside of the sanctuary to begin her cleaning duties.
Late in the afternoon, her phone buzzed she took it out. New message unknown number.
"Hi, Aya! This is Jimin, we are in between our show, I got your number from Hobi's phone. Don't tell him, please (๑•﹏•)."
Aya typed her reply.
"Hey, Jimin. I won't tell him, is there something you need?"
"Thank you! I actually want to give Hobi a surprise."
"A surprise Jimin?"
"Yeah, I want you to come to our last performance of the tour."
"But it has to be very secret."
Aya didn't know how to reply to Jimin's text.
"Uhm that is so sudden, I don't know if I can."
"( ⚈̥̥̥̥̥́⌢⚈̥̥̥̥̥̀)"
"Jimin..."
"I kinda already paid for your plane ticket."
"You what? (((;ꏿ_ꏿ;)))"
"I have to get back on the stage, I'll text you the details later(人 •͈ᴗ•͈)"
"Wait, Jimin I didn't agree yet."
Aya waited for a text but it didn't come. She didn't move. What was Jimin planning? How can she just pack up and go?
Carl came to the backyard, he saw Aya frozen in thought, he placed his hand on her shoulder, she jumped.
"Sorry, Aya I didn't mean to scare you."
"It is alright, Carl. Do you need anything?"
"I came to tell you it is lunchtime. What is wrong you look like a ghost?"
Aya opened her text messages showing Carl what Jimin texted her. His face turned from a smile to a wide grin.
"You are going, right?"
"Have you lost your mind!?"
"No, I haven't and this will be such a wonderful experience. I am jealous."
"Carl, how am I suppose to just go?"
"Easy I'll give you two days off."
"And my other shift at the bookstore?"
Carl thought for a moment. "Just swop with someone else, so you have two shifts here, wait, make that three days."
Aya stared at him dumbfounded. "I don't have money to buy a ticket to return after the show."
"Don't make excuses, just go, honey. Carpe Diem."
"What does that mean?"
"It means seize the day, or how I would like to rephrase it now to seize the moment."
Aya was about to reply when her phone buzzed. "I miss you Naui Cheonsa."
Carl lifted an eyebrow, by the look on your face it must Hoseok.
Aya nodded at Carl, typing her reply.
