章節 5: The Spider and the Shapeshifter
"Okay you four, that was an interesting match." The professor stated while glancing over at the ink seeping girl. "Happy, are you able to fix, whatever is going on with her?" He asked taking notice how all the students were slightly frightened by her god awful appearance.
"On it sir." Muriel said while quickly running to her friend's aid. With her hand out she quickly grabbed Jess's hand while producing as much positive aura she could give at that moment.
While Muriel was in the slow process to bringing her ink pal back to her normal human look, the teacher moved on. "Okay now, I want to try Toolshed with Mysterion on the villain's team. Then I want Spider Gal with.....Evo." He said while glancing at the new student. 'This will be an interesting match as well.' He thought to himself.
Mollie glanced at her partner as she noticed she was the only other girl in the classroom besides the blonde. With a big smile she walked up to the teacher. "Thanks teach, wish me luck." She said while patting him on the back for a brief second. While noticing all three were heading in the event center, Mollie had one new form she just took but taking one more form would be very beneficial. While getting back in her childish act, Mollie began skipping to catch up to the claimed 'villains'. When they all make it in the gym she stopped the two boys before they could get ready for the match. Mollie blocked the two boys while putting off a sweet and innocent vibe. "Well even though we are facing you in this test, I wish you the best of luck." She said with her hand out waiting for just one of them to accept the handshake.
Toolshed stole a glimpse at his partner slightly confused. Mysterion, being the respectable type accepted the handshake while making eye contact with the girl. "Thanks doll, however it's you that'll need all the luck as me and my partner are safe." He said with a deeper hazy voice followed by a cocky grin.
"Oh, well I'm happy to hear I have some competition." Mollie said while not breaking her eye contact with this guy as she began to wonder. 'What are his powers?'

"Okay , Heroes are you ready?" The teacher questioned on the intercom.
"Ready!" The two girls hollered out loud.
"Villains are you ready?... Okay, begin!"
Mollie glanced at her partner, "Do you have a plan?" She asked.
"Well I believe knowing those two they are both going in offense. Meaning one of us should stay behind and watch the bomb. I myself would be better out on the field but if you have what it takes, be my guest." She gestured out off in the distance.
Mollie looked back at the bomb then at her raven haired partner. "Honestly, I like your idea but.. I think we should fight back just as hard. They won't expect both of us to come at them. I can throw them both off while you sneak around them and go for their bomb."
"Wait, I don't know you well enough to trust you on stopping them. What makes you think you can stop them from easily passing through you?" The raven asked.
"Trust me, they will stop. Oh yeah, what power does the teacher possess by the way?"
"Uhh he controls people with a simple command they can't break. Something about his puppet being the one who has the power, he himself has no ability he claims. He talks to his puppet asking it to give a command. It's weird, but you get used to it."
Mollie was now more curious to what power she could possess for a short period of time. "Okay, so all he does is ask his puppet to say a command, then what?"
"Uhh, he attempts do a ventriloquist act but fails miserably as he makes the puppet seem like it's says the command."
"Wait, but he's still saying the command himself?"
"Yes, like I said, I'm starting to believe he believes the puppet has the powers when really it is him. He's a bit... loopy at times."
The two girls were interrupted by the intercom going off. "You two, stop talking about your teacher and find those boys." They heard their teacher demand.
Mollie couldn't hold back a small giggle. "Ohhh we got busted."
"Sure did." The raven girl said.
"Why don't we both head their direction. I want you to see what I can do." Mollie said with confidence in her tone.
"Okay, if you insist but I'll warn you now, they are tricky."
"Oh don't worry. Just maneuver around them and go for the bomb. They will be fully aware of your action."
"You know for someone with such a childish act, your really cocky."
Mollie smiled. "Thanks, you'll know why I'm this way one day. But for now, call me Evo. What may I call you? I'm sorry I honestly forgot what he called you in the other room."
"Call me Spider Gal."
"Sweet name, let's get that bomb shall we?" Mollie said full of glee.

While the two girls began walking off in the direction of the bomb, they both began to wonder. 'Where are those two?'
"Uhh, I'm beginning to think they separated and are sneaking their way to the bomb." Spider Gal said while still looking around.
"Hmm.. I don't think so. What if they are ready for an ambush?"
"Well they wouldn't do that because I can sense when I'm about to be attacked before it happens."
"Oh, that's an interesting ability." Mollie said stealing a glimpse at the raven girl.
"There's many other things I can do, that being one of them."
"Ohh that's awesome, I can't wait to see what else you can do, but why don't you back away from me for a quick second." Mollie said while changing the subject.
"Okay?" Spider Gal said in a questioning tone as she backed up a few steps.
Mollie held both hands to her side while looking down and closing her eyes. She began envisioning who she was turning into. Feeling a cold, wet sensation all around her she heard a gasp. When she opened her eyes she looked down seeing it worked. With a mad grin forming on her face she turned back to her partner. "Watch and learn sweetheart." She said in the new body she possessed. While stepping forward and taking in her surrounding. She held her puppet up. "Boys come out, there's something wrong!!" She yelled out with the teacher's voice as strong as can be.
It took a few seconds until she saw the two boys show their face in confusion.
Spider Gal was shocked her spider scenes didn't catch them actually hiding. Yet again, they weren't ready to ambush them as they were only planning it.
"What going on? Where's the new girl?" Toolshed asked while stealing a quick glance at Spider Gal.
"She got disqualified for talking badly about me. She didn't think I could hear her. Stupid girl didn't stop when I told her to. You two should head back in with the others. I'll come up with different names to choose." She said while hoping they would buy her act.
The two boys looked at each other confused. "Uhh, you're not one for stopping a fight for any reason unless the fight gets out of hand. What made that change?" Toolshed asked feeling something was up.
Mollie's heart sank as she realized she had to stall. Without thinking, she knew what she had to do.
"Are you questioning my methods boy? You know what happens to people who don't obey my commands." She said while looking over at the puppet staring them down.
Both boys tensed as they know being in his control is actually very unsettling.
"Okay, we will go back but answer this. Where is the new girl exactly?" Mysterion asked.
Mollie knew this was a trap as she glanced at Spider Gal for help.
"She got a write up as she got sent home. He was really pissed with what she said about him." Spider Gal chipped in.
"Oh.. I see. What did she call you, a fag?!" Mysterion asked while watching the so called 'teacher's' reaction.
Mollie quickly glanced at him in confusion. Both boys knew at that moment this wasn't really their teacher as he would have flipped a lid just by the word being said.
"Shit." Spider Gal said knowing the two boys were indeed clever.
At that moment both boys quickly charged at the impostor. Without thinking Mollie looked over at the puppet quickly. "Tell them to Stop!.. Okay you two stop right now!" She yelled out hoping it would work.
Suddenly the two boys stopped in mid step as they seemed slightly frozen in place. Mollie smiled as she walked up to the two. She could hear small grunts in frustration. While looking over at Toolshed she pulled off a devilish grin as she held her hand out. He looked away while grinding his teeth in anger as he couldn't move. "How unfortunate you two really thought lil ol' me was a tiny weak girl. Just a simple child in your eyes. I'll have you know, I might act like a child but I assure you. You don't want to fuck with me." She said the last part in a deeper more intimidating tone while grabbing Toolshed's arm. "Spider Gal, why don't you get to their bomb. I'll handle them."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, now go." She demanded.
Spider Gal was slightly taken back by her sudden stern tone even if it was in the teacher's body. She didn't hesitate to run off to their bomb. Both boys glared at Mollie as she stepped back. "Okay, I'll play nice. While my partner is going to get to your bomb regardless, I will give you a chance to face me. But I assure you, don't hold back. I like a good challenge." She said while slowly changing back to her normal self. Both boys nearly collapsed to the ground as they both looked up at her in frustration. Without a second thought, Toolshed grabbed a power drill while smashing it into the ground. While feeling the ground shaking below Mollie, she quickly pulled off a back flip handstand while throwing herself back on her feet. At that moment she saw a huge drill appear where she was standing. 'Hmm interesting power. I still wonder what his partner can do.'
Both boys realized she was very agile and tricky to catch as she would be a very difficult opponent.
"Toolshed, go after our bomb. Make sure Spider Gal doesn't get to it first." Mysterion ordered.
Toolshed simply nodded as he ran off to where she went.
Mollie's full attention fell on the Mystery boy. "So, a shapeshifter? Haven't seen one up close." He said while walking in a circle around her trying to be intimidating. Mollie knew he was up to something. She had to come up with a plan quickly.
"Yeah, well nice meeting you Mystery Man, I don't even know your power. Why don't you tell me what it is?"
"Why? So you can turn into me? I don't think so."
"Oh foowy." Mollie said while snapping her finger as playing a disappointed act. "And here I was about to look just like you. I wonder what I should do." She said while thinking back on how his partner looked and what his ability he did was like. The moment Mysterion threw himself at her out of nowhere. She pulled off a cocky grin as within a split second she changed into his companion. Mysterion punched her while aiming at her gut to only punch a wrench and a screw driver. He froze as he made direct eye contact with her. "Oh wow, you weren't expecting that huh?" She teased while her shit ass grin was now plastered to her face. Mysterion didn't know what to do as she threw him off of her with her tools. She jumped in the air while giving a powerful kick to his chest. Mysterion fell on the ground as he looked up at the impostor posing to be his partner.
"Give up Mystery Boy, you lost." She said while holding out her screw driver to his throat. Growing more irritated he smacked the screw driver out of her hand. Being caught off guard, she looked over at the screw driver. The second she looked at him he kicked her hard in the gut while quickly standing back on his feet. No matter how much he didn't want to hit a girl, he knew he had to. It didn't help that she was posing as one of his closest friends. As she fell to the ground she got the air taken out of her lungs as she felt heavy pressure on her chest. Looking up she could see him looking down at her with his foot on her chest.
"Why don't you give up doll. You think you won but really, it's me that won." He said keeping his deep scratchy tone in play. Mollie began grinding her teeth as she looked up at him while grabbing his ankle trying to pry his foot off. "There's no need to waste your time doll, even you aren't strong enough to get out of this one." He said with a cocky grin.
Mollie was pissed how the tables had turned. However, she wouldn't dare go down without a fight. While closing her eyes she heard a chuckle. "I honestly thought you'd put up more of a figh-" Mysterion stopped his words the moment he realized what she was doing. He quickly backed up away from her as he began to show fear in his eyes
Mollie quickly got on her feet as she held her fists out. "Hmm, a mutual artist. How interesting, seems you know more than I do. Wanna dance?" She taunted while holding her hand out waving him on to fight her."
Mysterion began slowly processing the new impostor in front of him as it was himself. 'This is trippy but.. I still have to fight her.' Without warning he threw himself at her with a strong roundhouse kick to the face. He froze when the back of his foot collided into something. However it wasn't what he was expecting. His eyes grew wide as he saw her block his kick with her arm out shielding her face. She looked up at him with a smug grin. He began to panic as he tried pulling his foot away from her. She quickly grabbed his foot before he could while pulling upward with all the strength she possessed. He fell backwards to the ground at full force. He gasped for air as it all seemed to escape his body. Trying to breath he failed as a powerful stomp was felt on his chest as he became light headed. Looking up, he saw her back to her normal form. "Checkmate bitch." She said in the sassiest tone she could give. At that moment the intercom sounded. "Heroes win."
A small chuckle could be heard from Mollie as she took her foot off of Mysterion. He was still trying to breath as she held out her hand. Shocked by the sudden kindness he looked up at the surprisingly strong girl. "Good game, maybe next time you can beat me. I won't make it easy though." She said while winking.
Mysterion didn't understand why but his cheeks suddenly warmed up. Ignoring the feeling to stay in his unfazed stage, he grabbed her hand as she pulled him on his feet. "I got to hand it to you, you really are good. You caught me off guard a bit. I was kinda hoping you would have put up more of a fight." She said while glancing over at the Mystery Man as they began walking to the exit. The moment she looked away he stole a quick glance at the new girl.
'Yeah, I wasn't expecting much of a fight out of you but I bet your full of surprises. I'm looking forward to seeing how useful you will be on the team.' Mysterion thought while looking at the cute brunette.
