Ivy froze as she recalled the Emperor's story of how the late Queen used her magic to provide weapons for the great war, and because of that, the Queen's health grew worse, for her magic was used to harm human lives. 

[Does this mean she didn't want anything to happen to me too? That's why she doesn't want to make weapons?] 

Ivy grinned while she kept that thought to herself, then she said to the Fairy, "I give you my word that I will never ask you to make something like that or anything that you don't like as long as I live."

Though Ivy said so, the little Fairy averted her gaze, "Izzy used to say that too, but Izzy still made Hope create all those weapons because Izzy says Izzy has to help her husband, the King. Even when Izzy is dying because of the magic, Izzy never listens to Hope. Izzy only cares for the King, and Ivy will also break her promise when Ivy's husband asks for it."

Ivy turned quiet.
