"What did you say?"

Ivy asked Iris, who had just finished her bath and was comfortably dressed in her bathrobes.

"I mean what I said." she sat down unmannerly while she toweled her hair dry.

"That's what they did to all of us after we arrived. They strapped us to a chair then took some blood from us. After that, they cut a small hole behind our heads and insert a needle in it."

While Ivy gulped and showed a terrified face, she stammered her question, "Wha-what are they trying to do?"

"Who knows?" Iris shrugs her shoulders, "None of us could remember what happened after they stick a needle into our brains. All we know was once they finished. They will know whether we are useful or useless to them. They will probably do the same to you too tomorrow. So my advice to you is don't try to struggle, or you'll just make the process even more painful."
