Jace's POV

Caitlin buckled her seatbelt and I already start the ignition of the pickup when I saw Miracle came out from her tent. I am just glad Caitlin is so busy with her world, and she didn't notice Mira is standing looking so sad. I wish to run to Miracle and told her everything, but I don't wish to add the pain that I caused to Caitlin and I know she is having a hard time accepting the fact that what we had is over. I don't have a choice but to drive away from Miracle, even do I wish to do the opposite.

Caitlin and I have so many memories together that I need to forget since I felt so guilty. She stayed by my side and I still remember how I begged her to stay with me when her mother was leaving them. She went to our house and hide for two days. All the recollections of that painful day are all coming back to me.
