He rested his head against the couch, his eyes were closed. He can't help the smirk from forming on his lips as he remembered the look on Avalyn's face.

"Ah, Ava, you never fail to mesmerize me," he murmured. She must be in a state of shock right now. What he did was something she had least expected from him. He was sure.

He himself had not expected it, but it happened. And he was glad that things turned out that way. He had no regrets. The only thing that he was beginning to regret was that he did not do it sooner.

He can't help but smirk yet again. What would have happened if he did? He was certain that the look on Avalyn's face would probably be the same. But he was now left to wonder if it would have changed a few things perhaps. 

Amused, he shook his head. Things might have remained the same. However, he was sure that it would probably affect Avalyn the most. It would affect her the way it was affecting her now.
