Joan drove as fast as she could so that she could get to the company in time to meet Bella. She had wasted quite some time at the pizza shop where she had stopped to get Bella a pack of pizza. 

She was grateful that it was past work hours, so there was more than enough space in the parking lot for her to park her car. She was still wondering what Bella was doing at the office past work hours. Was she possibly going to meet Dan Williams finally? Joan blushed at the thought of it. She had picked up one of her prettiest gowns and had even applied a bit of makeup as fast as she could. One of her key slogans was 'Never to be caught unfresh'. Since Bella had said she wasn't interested in Dan Williams, maybe she would hit it off with the idol, Joan mused with a cheerful smile as she checked her teeth in the rearview mirror and rearranged her hair.
