章節 3: Chapter Three
Melania's tears spilled as she saw him looking at him helplessly, he was taken away from her. Melania couldn't stop sobbing. And then suddenly someone tapped her shoulder.
"Hey, wake up chubby girl, we'll be late at school!" Her cousin Iris wakes her up.
Melania woke up crying.
"Are you crying?" Iris nodded, Melania sat down on her bed, and there she noticed that her tears were dripping. She wiped it with her palm. "What are you dreaming about?" Iris nodded. "I saw that man in my dream again, he wants to save me for something that I want?" Melania said. "It's just a dream, okay? Get up!" Iris just shook her head.
Iris help Melania to get up, still in drowsiness, they slept late last night because they movie marathon. Then suddenly, her aunt Valeria came in.
"You two will be late at school, what did you do last night?"
"Mom, we watched a couple of movies, we can't sleep because you went home late!" said Iris.
"Even though I wasn't home yet, you still sleep early okay?"
"Okay mom, but why you went home late last night?" Iris asked.
"I picked up some fabrics in downtown, and took me too much traffic and with heavy rain that's why, anyway go ahead and get ready for breakfast!"
"Yes mom," Iris said gently. Then Valeria turned her attention to Melania who was still sleepy.
"And you Melania, next time don't sleep late okay? Look at you, you can't get up easily,"
"Yes aunt Valeria," Melania said while yawning.
Melania is an orphan, her parents died in an accident when she was only five years old, and her mother's sister, Valeria, took her and treat her like her own child. Valeria is a widow and Iris is her daughter, she is two years older than Melania, Valeria has a small tailoring shop in front of their rented house. Melania went to the bathroom and washed her face and cleansed her body.
And every time she sees herself in the mirror she feels frustrated, because' she is chubby and not pretty as well, that's why she was often bullied in school.
"What if I'll become as beautiful like mannequin?" She mumbled.
And she remembered the man she had seen on her dream. "Who is he? It seems like I knew him for a long time?" Melania mumbled and she felt thrilled. "It's nice to have that kind of boyfriend," she sighed. She wish she will meet a man like him in real life. Since then she always see him in her dreams that they were in Bolanaire Kingdom. She was also wondering why she was always dreamed that she was in the Mannequin's land and talking to a queen. Ever since she was a child, she was dreaming to be beautiful like the mannequins, but recently, she started to dream that she was in their land.
