"You should have some sleep, Lisa." Mom Esmeralda said, and I shook my head.

"I will wait for my husband to come home, mom," I responded, and she sat up on the bed beside me.

"Don't worry, I know your husband will never do something stupid to ruin your relationship, you just got married, and I couldn't believe something will happen to Tanya. I should have asked Adrian to leave and come back tomorrow." My mother-in-law declared, and I smiled at her.

"It is okay, mom; the truth is I felt so guilty that I stole Benedict away from her," I responded, and she took my hand and squeezed it.

"Lisa, you don't have any idea how Tanya broke Ben's heart, and when he fell in love with you, that was the time he learned to love again. I know when Maya and Mary came into our lives, he started to come back to his own self after he got broken-hearted, but when you become his girlfriend, that was the time I saw him so happy again." Mom said.
