"I am sorry, Ben and Maya, but Lisa has already resigned from her work. It was so sudden, and I was also wondering what had happened to her. Only the Human Resource Department knew about it, but you can't ask about it since it was confidential." Lisa's officemate said the moment we came to her office.

I felt frustrated that after one day of looking for Lisa, we couldn't find her, and we didn't have any lead where she could be. And I realized that she was hiding from us, and I thought she was only staying at her condo unit, but when we arrived yesterday, we couldn't find her there.

I am having dinner with my sister in one of Lisa's favorite restaurants hoping we can see her there or meet some of our friends, but it seems like the world is playing with me since we haven't found anyone we know.

"Hey, are you okay, Kuya Ben?" I heard my sisters' soft voice asking me a question, and then I looked at her with sadness on my face.
