章節 14: Up to No Good
Lila walked to school angry the next day. She was expecting the cold shoulder from Mira. It was all Marinette's fault. She was definitely going to pay. Lila decided that Marinette would be her first akumatized victim.
Lila planned to steal something from Chloe's locker and plant it in Marinette's locker. It would be a simple plan. Marinette would likely be suspended or expelled from school because Chloe will use her daddy's power to make sure that happened. When Marinette got angry, Lila would akumatize her and make Marinette do terrible things out of rage and lose the trust of all her friends.
Mira was arranging a few things in her backpack. Lila walked over, waved, and said, "Hi, Mira! It's nice to see you again. Are you having a good time here?"
"Hi, Lila. I'm having a great time! I was worried about my mother's decision to move to Paris at first, but things have been going great." Mira wasn't as peppy as yesterday, but she wasn't being rude or mean. Maybe she didn't believe what Marinette had told her.
"That's awesome! Let's go to class, school is about to start," Lila said.
The two walked to class, and Lila kept watch for any item of value Chloe was carrying. She was always bringing new, expensive junk to school. Chloe wasn't carrying anything knew, but this didn't discourage Lila. Her plan could still wait.
Once all the students were seated, class began. Lila paid little attention, like always. If the teacher assigned homework, Lila would just take photos of the answers, which sat on every teacher's desk.
Chloe pulled a round compact mirror out of her bag. It was made of pure gold, and the initials "C B" were spelled out with small jewels on the cover. She showed it to Sabrina, who looked at it with awe. Chloe opened it up and looked at her perfect face.
Lila watched and knew stealing something as values le as the mirror would not get Marinette suspended. She would get expelled.

Before the last class had begun, Lila followed Chloe to her locker. Lila sat on a bench and pretended to look at her phone. Chloe set her bag and mirror on the floor, making them an easy target for Lila.
"Chloe, you forgot these at your seat!" Sabrina rushed to the front of locker room holding a couple of papers.
Chloe walked away from her bag and rolled her eyes, "Oh, it would be just a shame if I forgot that."
Lila dropped her bag on the floor, spilling what was inside of it. She gasped and knelt on the floor, picking up her items. When she was sure no one was looking, Lila grabbed the mirror and hid it in her bag. She rushed out of the locker room with a big grin on her face. Chloe was just to stupid for a smart person like Lila.
Lila stroked the box in her purse holding the Butterfly Miraculous and walked to her next class.
