Fae turned and waited for the man who had called her to come closer. Mischa appeared not long after. He was wearing a thin black shirt and matching pants. His face looked delighted and full of smiles, fascinated Fae for a moment.

Hmm .. wasn't the temperature already very cold? thought Fae. It was almost winter, but this man casually dressed as if it were summer.

"I'm looking for you," said Mischa.

Fae pointed at her own nose. "You're looking for me? For what?"

"I want to make sure you are all right," said the man, earnestly. He was also interested in Fae because she reminded him of the missing daughter of his foster father, but he didn't want to say it now. "I stopped by the cafe where you worked, and they said you just quit, and you are not yet far. So I chased you."
