章節 141: A Cottage in the Forest

Hugo was the lookout until the wee hours of the morning. Before the others woke to prepare for a new day, he activated his second-level Cloak of Thanatos and disappeared stealthily into the Savage Forest.

He did not travel far. He stopped only a mile and a half away from the camp so that Freya could continue monitoring the movements of his teammates.

He made sure to avoid detection by any of the creatures he encountered in the forest to stay hidden from Jeremiah, the mystic seer.

Seers could only obtain information as feedback from the world when the entity whose status they were divining had come into contact with several other sentient creatures. They would be hard-pressed to deduce anything about an inconspicuous stone that had never been noticed by any sentient being.

After finding a good hideout, he dove into his morning routine of the Kratos-Body-Yoga while waiting for Jeremiah and the rest to wake.
