章節 47: Chp 47:Silver shackles
Evan's POV:
My eyelids lay heavy and a blinding light beckoned me. A burning flesh smell entered my nose and my wrists were melting away. I opened my eyes to see myself strapped to the wall of a large room. Silver shackles binded me. Making it impossible to move, unless I wanted to burn my hands off.
This guy knew what he was doing. He used just enough silver in the chains to subdue me. Silver becomes pretty useless against older vampires, however very potent for younger one such as myself.
The burning sensation of my wrists hurt but was bearable, my healing abilities were able to maintain my hands. Luckily it was a weaker silver, probably mixed with steel. This made it the perfect thing to contain a younger vampire without killing them.
From the looks of it, I was definitely not told the entire family tree. This guy looked exactly like Ren. And he was pretty much on par with his strength and speed, probably his age too.
I gazed elsewhere in the large blue room. Only to see another pair of shackles attached to the wall on the opposite side of the room, about 20 meters from where I sat.
The room had two doors to my left both had blurred windows like the others. 'This place was creepy. No wonder Lucas was yelling and screaming earlier.'
'Thinking of which. Where is Lucas?'
I struggled, attempting to break free from the shackles. The burn intensified but I was willing to break free and fight the pain if I could save Lucas.
But it was pointless, my hands only ended up with more burns than before. Resulting in my hunger rising. 'Damn!'
I sat there in the darkness of the blue room for far too long before Robert came back.
But he dragged someone behind him. I caught a glimpse of the shiney blonde hair and instantly knew who it was.
"Lucas!" I yelled.
He was unconscious, with a hospital robe around him.
"What have you done to him!" I hissed.
"I swear if you've hurt him in anyway, I will kill you myself!" My voice rose with anger at every word.
I only earned a snicker from him as he chained Lucas to the opposite side of the room.
"Don't worry, Hes already experienced the worst pain in existence. Not like it can get much worse than that. oh no actually it can!" He laughed at his own words. I gritted my teeth and a growl rose from within me. 'This bastard!'
He smirked at my reaction and continued. "Every night he will experience the sensation of all the blood in his body boiling him alive. This of course is a necessary action to extracting that ability of his."
"You monster! What is the point of even gaining such an ability? You are already powerful and have literally no one who can compell you."
"tut tut tut tut. Not true, not true." He came closer to me and crouched down in front of me.
"I believe you are familiar with my brother, Ren. He has always been more powerful than me in every way, including compulsion."
I frowned at his childish behavior and reasoning. 'He just wanted to beat his brother?'
"With this ability that you have so kindly revealed to me, I can easily take it for my own and Kill my brother once and for all. He will be powerless to stop me." He grinned again, gesturing to Lucas as the ability.
"It won't work. You think you can just take his ability? With what plausible meathod?" I inquired, daring to learn more about his plans, he was so easily giving away.
"Hmm. I have my ways young chick."
He patted my head and walked out of the room, waving a flirtatious goodbye.
