Watching Vukan remain and act mute through the entirety of the dinner was odd and unsettling for Oliver who was anticipating an entirely different reaction and response. The main aim of bringing and inviting Bruce Scott to the dinner event didn't seem to be manifesting, considering how cool, calm and somewhat indifferent Vukan had been all through. 

More so, he had kept to himself, refused to speak to anyone and even when Tom who was seated next to him tried to engage him in a conversation, he just wouldn't budge. 

"What is wrong with him?" he wanted to ask but opted against it. 

Drawing attention to himself wasn't the plan, and while he desperately wanted and hoped for a reaction from Vukan, he didn't want any drama for himself. Sofia had made him promise to behave himself and not instigate any form of trouble whatsoever. More so, his boss wasn't going to take kindly to being humiliated in a event he had hosted and planned out from scratch.
